2 sacks in 3 games. Hilarious. Today we were playing a big slow QB with 3/5s of their offensive line starters out, and STILL couldn't get a sack. Mario was consistently bringing pressure but everybody else sucks balls.
 
We at least have some good play to build on.....it still sucks to lose but at least we played well. Schaub looked like a real qb again we just need to get td's in the red zone. We know Slaton is our back now lets build the running game around what he does well and roll with it.

He didnt cost us ****, it didnt get blocked, he is 1 of 11, and ive seen him make more good plays in this game on D than anyone else by far.....

laughable to blame it on him....
 
Everyone needs to chill out. We played hard and now we KNOW this team is not the team we saw the first two weeks. The Jags just escaped - just like they did against INDY. They won by coin toss, plain and simple.

Good news is that now we have 4 straight home games and I see us winning alot of those.

Schaub was impressive as was slaton and walter. Our defense was great at keeping their rb's from moving. A couple of freak plays gave jax the game, it hapapens.

I'm really tired of just playing well, sick of moral victories.

Also why does NFL OT suck so much?
 
This defense is godawful. Mario Williams is the only good player on the field on that side of the ball right now. DeMeco Ryans has not been good. I don't give a flying ****** that he's leading our team in tackles. When they're all 10 yards downfield it doesn't really matter. Jesus ****ing Christ. Please can Richard Smith. Please let our D play with some intensity for one entire game.

That's wonderful. We have some building blocks now and in no time we'll be a competitive team. First I suppose we need some help on the DL, the OL, and the secondary and LB's but we're just an expansion franchise so there should be lots of holes to fill at this point considering we're only on year seven of our 20 year plan to look like a competitive football team.

Why hate NFL OTs...It sux and the least they could do is make 6 minute quarters.

Would be good if they would let the other team match the score though...it sucks it takes one side of the ball completely out of the game.

We are all...and this is a hard loss to swallow, but we lost in OT, on the road against a team that made the playoffs last year. Our much maligned QB and offense made a great drive at the end of the game to put us in OT. We lost the coin flip.

I think kubiak Not calling a time out when are punting team was on the field agansit there Offensive !!!!!!!!!!!!

was one of the reason we lost this game !!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I really really don't know what to think. 0-3 for what, 3 out of the last 4 years? That's ridiculous. Matt Schaub played his little inconsistent heart out, but it wasn't enough. What did we ever do to anger the football gods? Why is winning so freakin' hard for us? :/ Very disheartening loss. We'll have to go 10-3 just even think about playoffs probably.

It just sux so more bcuz we turn around and play the Colts next week and pretty much all hope for the season is lost...

So...I think we need a DT, DE, and a Safety.

If we had a big run stuffer Garrard couldn't run up the middle every 3rd and 41
 
Coaching lost that game for us. It was not the players. There is no way we should let Garrard waltz into the endzone or make that first down. Who the heck doesn't know he runs?
 
Also Demeco did everything he could, our one man pass rush was dominated again.

We actually played good in the secondary...

Run stuffers are not normally in a 3rd and 41.

Playoffs? Playoffs? I just want to win a GAME! Sorry, just couldn't resist. Losing sucks so dang bad. I'm so disheartened.
 
Well, it wasn't nauseating.

Not great, but I didn't want to vomit most of the game.

The offense played great but I'm having a hard time finding anything good to say about the D other than Mario.
 
If Kubiak had called a timeout on the fake punt for a TD we wouldn't be talking about losing this game in OT. If you see the punter lining up on the line you've got to have the presence of mind to call the timeout. It's not like they got the snap off so quickly that he didn't have a chance either. You know that most of the times after a loss Kubiak takes the blame for the loss, but for this one the blame is squarely on his shoulders.

yeah, and one that can beat his man, get held and pushed into Garrard and NOT get a chicken**** roughing the passer call. that penalty was total BS and the league needs to be held accountable for that. If you are being held you do not have control of your body so how can that be a roughing call.

oh man, there is so much to be upset about today but at least the offense moved the ball pretty consistently so that is something to feel better about moving forward. it's quite obvious the defense is going nowhere with Smith doing the gameplanning and adjustments. he is so utterly horrible at his job.
 
As a team we have one pick and two sacks in three games. That is laughable and pathetic. WGAS if we stopped the run for one game when they threw on us at will and Garrard ran on us like he was the love child of VY and Mike Vick.

It's sad because the one time a DT made a play they called that crap.
 
I find it funny how some folks are bashing Kubes for not calling a timeout but no one is calling out the 11 guys on the field.

I agree, there were 11 on the field and a bunch on the sideline that were all asleep. That one will haunt Kubes alot more than most people think.
 
and the losing continues.

giving away 4th and 8 plays for first downs and having your punt return team defending a touchdown run is fun to watch.:bat:
