Whaaaaaat? Are you saying we woke up today and have another fourth round pick and gave up a sixth, not a fifth we didn’t know about? Is this real?

In related news, @badboy and @steelbtexan have just traded all of the Texans 3rd and 4th picks to the Jags for their #1 overall pick.Update On Deshaun Watson Trade Compensation
Add another draft pick to the compensation that the Texans received for quarterback Deshaun Watson. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter …www.profootballrumors.com
he full compensation is below, per Schefter:
Browns receive
Texans receive
- QB Deshaun Watson
- Selection choice — Round 6, 2024
- Selection choice — Round 1, 2022 (No. 13)
- Selection choice — Round 4, 2022 (No. 107)

- Selection choice — Round 4, 2024
It is been forever since a single player was traded for anything close 3 first and three additional picks ...I have chosen to just stay out of that argument circus.I don't think the additional 4th round pick this year will move the needle for those firmly in the belief the Texans got hosed but I like it.
That is the one organization that might do that trade...In related news, @badboy and @steelbtexan have just traded all of the Texans 3rd and 4th picks to the Jags for their #1 overall pick.
Looks a little better on paper. Was hoping those 3 and 4s would be 2 and 3s but oh wellUpdate On Deshaun Watson Trade Compensation

This is getting better.
It’s Detroit’s 4th I think
If this is accurate I feel a little better about the compensation we received, although I would still like to have gotten a good young player.Update On Deshaun Watson Trade Compensation

It was reported as a 5th. But the 6th is where the next Tom Brady is drafted.Oh no! It was a 6th round pick we gave up and not a 4th!
There goes our hall of fame player!
It is been forever since a single player was traded for anything close 3 first and three additional picks ...I have chosen to just stay out of that argument circus.
and I can’t emphasize enough that there is a very real chance he’s going to miss significant playing time next year. The Browns are in a dangerous area having probably to win it all in two years, suspension included.
Feels like Christmas!Whaaaaaat? Are you saying we woke up today and have another fourth round pick and gave up a sixth, not a fifth we didn’t know about? Is this real?
This was multiple offers on the 10MM listing and settling for 10MM cuz you decided ahead of time that you'd be happy with that number. Then letting the realtor pick the buyer and it goes to the buyer willing to pay the highest realtor commission.Nick had a $10 million dollar home for sale. He stuck a For Sale for $7 million sign in the front yard.
Already updated on the PFF mock simulator.Correct. The Texans currently have back to back picks @ #107 & #108.
In other news, @Texians grudgingly raises his grade for Nick Caserio - truth! In related news, @badboy and @steelbtexan have just traded all of the Texans 3rd and 4th picks to the Jags for their #1 overall pick.
That's the idea! What if we package this “gift“ with another later pick and move up into the third If the right guy is there?
The double creates a secure pick - what a bonus!Correct. The Texans currently have back to back picks @ #107 & #108.
There were two other teams wanting in. Texans shot one down, Watson shot one down.corrected. That’s all that would have given the Texans their minimum Trade request.
Nick wants to kiss your bobo.I'm really not feeling this. Not anymore. I'm off the Caserio train.
****, that changes everything. There were two other teams wanting in. Texans shot one down, Watson shot one down.
Why does it matter to you that Haslam gave Derrick a new deal?
Damn file clerk filed those new picks in the wrong file.In other news, @Texians grudgingly raises his grade for Nick Caserio - truth!
Why you still mad? He's gone to another team and you're still mad?
I am raising the grade from D+ to C. Better… but It won’t go higher because Nick has no stones and let DW4 lead him around by the nose like a bull at the rodeo. This whole thing was back asswards. Watson did everything but get on his back and ride him except Nick was the clown.
Yeah, it always nice having a couple extra mid round picks you can use to move up.This is getting better.
Plus I was referring to it being a Detroit pick. Almost a third. Second pick, fourth round.Yeah, it always nice having a couple extra mid round picks you can use to move up.
How dare Nick?!?!?!
Are you willing to consider that Cal and Janice told him to get Buttman #4 off the team as soon as possible?
Agreed. It’s a nice sweetener with a trade up.Plus I was referring to it being a Detroit pick. Almost a third. Second pick, fourth round.
How is this miss reported for 3 days? If I wait 3 more days do we get more picks?
Like Rick Smithrealize who you’re talking to bro…Steelb is gonna be talking about this until the end of time.
Lol you just had to go there. Why why whyLike Rick Smith
Like Rick Smith
What about JE?Are you willing to consider that Cal and Janice told him to get Buttman #4 off the team as soon as possible? I agree with TK and others that he shouldn’t have let the player dictate the process (or the inmate run the asylum ). But think about it from his POV…if you are going to play hardball, you need the support of your boss(es) and if he didn’t have it, he couldn’t really die on that hill.
Once again, I’m engaging in WILD speculation so I’m just curious if that would you (or others) change their mind?
Derricks universe and special place as well from what we have heard……The universe is very fluid.
Is that you Nick Cliche? The universe is very fluid.
I’m fine with what they got.
I’m upset they let Watson dictate the process.
Atlanta just shipped their NTC disgruntled QB to Indy without a circus.
That’s all I’m saying.
Seattle traded their NTC disgruntled QB to Denver without a circus.
That’s all I’m saying.
The Rams QB was surprised as heck to wake up in Detroit.
That’s all I’m saying
Is that you Nick Cliche?
Why is the dude responsible for the hopkins trade,JJ departure,Watson ntc,Eric Murray, Whitney contract still has power in the organization? The same guy who could be fired by O'Brien but not by the GM. Not only that, they almost hired a guy with 0 coaching experience as head coach. If that guy would've been fired when his buddy was fired, he wouldn't have wanted out and the team would've stuck it out. Until the team get that dude out of here, its going to be uphill.
In related news, @badboy and @steelbtexan have just traded all of the Texans 3rd and 4th picks to the Jags for their #1 overall pick.
If the team would've actually stuck it out with Watson after all the crap Watson drug them through (Easterby doesn't have anything to do with Watson's off the field buffoonery). I wouldn't have stuck it out with them. I would've just moved on like I did after the Oilers left. There's more important things in life than just winning football games. In good conscience I would've never been able to root for Watson and now I root for his career to crash and burn in a flaming heap pile. Good news for me is there isn't a better place of that happening than Cleveland Ohio
So, yeah I'm ecstatic with this trade.. A+
