Young is the most pro-ready plug-and-play QB in this draft that also brings the it factor I'm looking for along with a big set of intangibles with him. He's everything Burrow is except...
He has one negative - size/frame. How big of an issue is will vary person to person.
But I think out of all the QB's in this draft, he by far has the best chance to be a franchise-level player. He's my guy and I'll keep saying it until the cows come home.
Stroud I think is likely to be good, but not great. And that's ok if you build a good team around him, but I don't think he can carry a team, and his intangibles don't match Young. There's much less of an it factor with him, not as much of a playmakers. That said, if Young is gone, I'm down to Stroud or Anderson at 1.2. And if you take Anderson...
There's no other guy that I feel has a better than a 50/50 shot of being the long-term answer, if that. It's throw a dart at the board and hope you hit. I like Hooker ok at 33 but he's old, he's injured, and he needs to learn to read a D. Very iffy whether he will ever be the guy. Possible, but less than a 50/50 shot IMHO.
