Rookie
"Big WR/TE in supp draft...Midwestern State WR/TE Chris Chatman will reportedly be available to NFL teams at next Tuesday's supplemental draft. According to John Murphy of Draft 2004, Chatman weighed in at 6-4, 239 at a private work at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California. That weight was actually about 7 pounds less than Chatman's playing weight last fall. At his workout, Chatman ran between 4.82 and 4.85 in the 40, a slower time that had been expected; Chatman had reportedly run closer to 4.65 range in the spring of 2003, but that was also at a much lower weight of 225-228 pounds. Chatman actually took part in last January's Las Vegas All-American Classic, but NFL officials subsequently denied his eligibility for the 2004draft. Chatman did not play last fall because he was academically ineligible." (www.gbnreport.com)

(8:00 PM): ECU LB works out...East Carolina LB Ike Emodi, who reportedly has entered this summer's NFL supplemental draft because of academic problems worked out for pro scouts at ECU earlier today. The 6-4, 230-pound Emodi, a SSLB who had 30 tackles and 4 sacks last fall. Running on natural grass, and with only a few days preparation time, Emodi reportedly posted a 38-inch vertical leap; a 10-5 broad jump, 4.20 in the short shuttle, and 6.9 in the 3-cone drill, as well as did 16 reps pressing 225 pounds. Emodi also was reportedly timed in close to 4.7 seconds for the 40. The supplemental draft is believed to be next Tuesday.

in our 2 years we've selected 2 players in a supp draft. obviously by now the texans arent oblivious to the talent available, and their not shy about useing picks either.

i think the last thing we need is another te ,but wells on the other hand could perhaps use replacing...just a thought, but then ive never heard of either one of these guys.
