Fuller will definitely play this year. I expect he may miss a game or two, but I doubt he misses very much time. The same holds true Coutee.
Fuller is a top 15 receiver in the league barring his health. Some of the things he does are just filthy. He has improved his hands every year he's been here. It really is a shame that he can't stay healthy.
If we could see all 3 for a full 16 games (with a healthy Watson) who knows what our offense could do.
Fuller has reportedly trained this off season with the goal of addressing/ reducing his injuries. What this included was not mentioned, but the fact he recognizes the problem and was taking steps to alleviate his injuries is encouraging. Coutee's injuries were all related right?
Torn hamstring. Came back too early. Torn hamstring. Came back too early. Etc, etc, etc...
A full off season & then some, he ought to be good now eh?
AJ tore a small semitendinosus hamstring tendon (not muscle).I would hope so. Looking at it like AJ’s injury plagued hamstring season (2011?)
AJ tore a small semitendinosus hamstring tendon (not muscle). The remaining wisp of tendon was "clipped," essentially leaving him with less explosiveness which was definitely evident from then on. But this type of injury treatment resulted in a retraction of the muscle somewhat out of position upwards displaced from its original position. But the released muscle would then scar to surrounding hamstring muscles and still maintain some but lesser power. The resultant loss of explosiveness could be partially compensated by a savvy vet (route running).........and once clipped that hamstring is no longer exposed to such "re-injury" of that hamstring. Coutee on the other hand with his multiple hamstring muscle issues (and for those who may not know, they involved hamstrings on both of his legs) will likely remain a significant risk for the remainder of his career.

http://www.texanstalk.com/posts/2944409/From a player (Coutee) who said he never had these issues before to a player that now has "multiple hamstring muscle issues," what happened? Is this a product of his workouts, stretching, age, heredity, a combination of some or all, or something else I'm missing? Is Coutee now another "ticking time bomb" like Fuller and we'll never know when it's going to go off, we just know it will at some point?
With all the weapons Watson has to throw to, there’s no reason he can’t challenge for the passing leader this season IF the line is half way decent.
If the Texans new regime treats every group like they have the WR group, they’ll be hoisting the Lombardi trophy sooner than later. The Texans have an army of good young talent on the depth chart at the WR positions.
Now do that with both lines, Texans. If the Texans WR’s (and TE’s) can stay reasonably healthy the Texans will be able to load up next offseason on the offensive and defensive los.

fuller is going to look really good for about 7 games. the rest will be hammy issues.

Hopkins is so tough/such a team player!
Rotoworld:
DeAndre Hopkins said he played with more pain last season than he had dealt with at any point in his career.
"Last year was tough, not just physically but mentally," Hopkins said. "It's the most banged up I've ever been playing football. I was dealing with serious injuries a lot of people would have sat down for. But we had a good team that depended on me, and I never gave a thought to not playing unless the doctors told me I couldn't." Despite playing through an immense amount of pain, Hopkins still tallied 115/1,572/11 as fantasy's WR4 in '18. Expected to be 100 percent come Week 1, he or Davante Adams are the No. 1 option at receiver across all formats heading into the season.
