Some people call him arrogant.
I'm calling it that he doesn't have much patience for fools. Something I can relate too.
Mike Devlin must have some pretty incriminating photos.

Dark humor, love it.Has anyone given any thought to perhaps OB is the best the Texans organization can do?
Davenport and Henderson are my starting tackles. Camp starts and Davenport isn't getting any burn.
Khalil is my starting left tackle, even though he hasn't done **** to earn it.
Johnson has out performed everyone he's put at left tackle.
Scharping and Howard suppose to playing tackle. But are getting 90% reps at the guard position.
Watson healthy suppose to be key. But we're still shifting the line up like the season isn't around the corner.
there is a mob on here lead by our fearless leader that loves them some mediocre Kubiak and never really gave mediocre BOB a fair shot.
I take offense to that. I didn't know BO'b before he got here. But I gave him a shot. From first TC he's been rubbing me the wrong way.
& still ain't done anything worth talking about.

You probably didn't like him because his personality is so much different from Kubiak's. I bet you loved Kubiak, (I like Kubiak as a man.) Truth is they were both mediocre HC's while they are/were here.
If BOB wins 10 games with this schedule I think he will have done a great job and in the playoffs alot of fate comes down to health and officials not rigging games like the Saints game last yr.
Kubiak was an excellent offensive coach and won a super bowl.
O'Brien is good at what?
One doesn't have to love Kubiak to dislike O'Brien.
Wackier still is it really isn't that difficult for anyone to judge either one of them completely independent of the other.
So how about we try and breakdown the guy currently in charge of this team's mediocrity, eh?
True
They were/are both mediocre HC's. Look at their records.

With an all time great defense. He was an avg HC while he was here. Ask yourself why was he better in Denver than he was in Houston? Kubiak has an excellent offensive mind but is way too conservative.
I agree kubiak is an excellent offensive mind. O'Brien is definitely not
I voted no.
Would you agree they both were/are way too conservative. It used to make me mad when they would light it up in the 1st half and try to sit on a lead in the 2nd half under Kubiak.

He’s not here Brian, so I don’t know how he’s doing. I want to talk about the guys that are here” -OB
“He’s got a back” - Kubiak

Differences in how these coaches deal with the same exact situation: https://twitter.com/strosfaniknow/status/1163626059406938115?s=21
I’ll take things that have nothing to do with each other for $1000, Alex.
He made osweiler look good. Obrien couldn't quite do that.
If Coutee had been held out till the regular season, he would have just been knocked out in the 1st quarter of game 1. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.Until they get the OL fixed and stay relatively healthy they will remain mediocre. One things finally clear, we know who's in charge of football operations now and if last yr is an indication, if WFV can stay healthy this team can be much better than it was last yr. A healthy Coutee (Thanks BOB for having him in in a meaningless preseason game when all of the other WR's weren't playing) wouldn't hurt a thing, inspite of what's most likely going to be a bottom tier OL again this yr.
I don't know. If normally sure handed receivers would have caught three passes Os laid up for them....
I just wish he'd be honest with himself …. What they have at OT isn't enough.

One of them was an offensive genius while he was here , the other one was touted as some offensive genius and has been poor to middling … and cant even figure out what scheme he wants to run , its suppose to change by opponent - Do what you do and do it well damnit , don't let the other team dictate what you do.
Yeah , its gonna be tough to get 10+ w's.
If that's the case , why are we paying attention to this crap ??

I don't listen to anything that ******* loser says. Let him gain even a semblance of credibility and maybe his words will matter even the slightest.

No he didn't, Osweiler had one good game against a Pats team that had been preparing for Manning. Just about any QB can have one good game and the whole thing about Kubiak's offense strategy in Denver was run the clock down, don't turn it over, get what points you can with the least risk and then let the defense win it. That's why he benched Osweiler, because Osweiler wanted to show he was a franchise QB and actually be aggressive and Manning just wanted to get one last ring and manage the game. I'm not knocking it, it worked, but lets not pretend that it showed the amazing offensive mind and HC abilities of Kubiak.

Anyone giving a lot of credit to Kubiak for that SB gets laughed at. That SB was won with pure defense and that was the worst Broncos offense they had since Tebow was there. Wade's defense won that and the team was in the same category as the Bucs and the Bears who won with strictly defense.
So then why did the Texans give him a huge contract after that season?

He still had to make sure the offense didn't ruin everything like OBriens offense always does in the playoffs. He had to change to a ball control offense with that personnel. And he stillll had to call plays, timeouts and challenge flags which OBrien isn't good at.
Also it was his first year in Denver. It's year 6 here and OBrien gets a pass because he didn't have his QB, or there were injuries, or he was missing some other player
So if Kubiak did such a great job then why was Manning, a Hof QB, the league's worst QB that year? I actually don't blame Kubiak for that but if we are going to give him credit for Osweiler having a good game while there and then blame BoB for Osweiler sucking here then we have to be fair. That defense saved the team's collective butts way more than the Texans defense ever has.
Also the fact that it was his first year proves he had very little to do with building and coaching the team, Kubiak was handed a race car that was already on the track towards a SB win. He just had to make sure he didn't drive it off the road and he did that so kudos to him. But when it came to building the team and leading it from start to finish, like when he was with us, he had no more success that BoB has had. The holes and problems were in different places but they were still there.

To be fair we all knew Manning was done. That neck injury was serious. Dude could barely throw the ball 20 yards down the field.
Manning could barely throw ten yards. His body was falling apart
