According to a recent ranking of NFL quarterbacks by Scouts Inc., David Carr ranks 25th out of 32.
Here is the commentary that accompanies DC's ranking, which I think is spot on:
"He had an awful game in a blowout loss to New England, throwing four INTs. He has thrown only one TD pass in his last eight games. He is really pressing, especially when the Texans get behind. He just doesn't make good decisions for a QB with his experience."
Among the QB's ranked ahead of Carr are JP Losman, Jay Cutler, VY, Leinert, Alex Smith and on and on. It really is depressing to see those guys ranked ahead of DC (and rightfully so), particularly Leinert--a rookie who has an offensive line worse than the Texans.
I like Carr as a person, but I want him gone before next season starts.
