Can someone explain how they work?
Trying to look at this from a non-homer position (& you know that's pretty damn hard for me.) But how do these "experts" rank these teams, what criteria is used?
This List has us behind the Bengals, 49ers, & Dolphins. What is even stranger, they have the Bengals behind Baltimore, the Jets, and Atlanta. I'm just not seeing that. The Bengals problem on D was depth, and their offense will be much improved, I would put them right there with the Ravens.
These guys have us a little better, still behind the Bengals & Falcons. There has to be something I'm not seeing.
This one still below the Bengals & Falcons. But also below the Eagles, Cardinals and Giants.
Peter King seems to have gone out on a limb. He has the Packers at #1, the Saints at #5. But he has Miami at #6 (WTF am I missing?) Dallas at #10, Seattle at #11, Atlanta at #16, and Houston at #17.
I'm not really too worried about where we are ranked, I just don't understand how teams like Atlanta & Miami consistently are placed higher than we are. A healthy Ryan, and a healthy Turner may explain Atlanta being ranked higher a time or two, but every time? & I'm just not getting the optomism about Miami, with the Patriots & Jets consistently in the top 10.
