BPA- depends who is there doesn't it? the only db I would draft this high would be Jimmy Williams, Tye Hill, Jason Allen or Jonathan Joseph any of those would be a possiblity. safety position is wide open, other than Huff who will be long gone the Texans could choose from Ko Simpson, Darnell Bing or Donte Whitner. the other defensive need (we have plenty of DT's & DE's) is middle linebacker, with both D'Qwell Jackson (who I understand is excellent in coverage- a weakness of Cowarts- so they could bring him in on passing situations) or Abdul Hodge. I also wonder if a DeMarco Ryans or Bobby Carpenter would project to a 43 MLB/MIKE.
depending on Bennie Joppru's status there could be a hidden opening for another TE in the draft more in the prototypical mold of a blocking well rounded prospect and there is one in this draft and thats Anthony Fasano out of ND, selecting him would mean the Texans have signed off on Joppru. I would expect the Texans to address the OL at least once if not twice in the draft, a tackle & guard/center. Pitts is now entrenched @ LT so that would mean a wide body to play RT. Eric Winston would fit that mold and have the abilty to switch over to play LT should something happen to Pitts. For a pure RT I would not be upset at all if the Texans went with Marcus MeNeil, he has the size and ability to step into the starting role immediatly the Texans will need to find out from interviewing him if he has the heart, but this cat can move, reminds me alot of Marcus Spears DT last year from LSU except 50 lbs heavier.
now here is the position I feel the Texans will address with the 2nd rd. pick WR. that is if Sinorice Moss is still available. Santonio Holmes is gone early probably a top 15 pick then all you have left between the Texans and moss are 15 teams and Chad Jackson, not sure if he'll last but if he does-
