That place is still open?
My knee jerk reaction to this thread when I first saw it was that this was bad etiquette or done in poor taste. I may not be a good judge of that however (see the fire OB thread.) I learned there others may need Rosetta stone to accurately interpret some posts.
In hindsight though, 3tap is just looking for more information and reference points. That's not a bad thing.
I prefer message boards as there is less traffic and you can communicate with the same crowd. Social media is full of millions of different fans having discussions that you can’t even follow.the biggest thing is that the message board is essentially the AM radio of social media. for people who want to take Texans they are using something twitter, Facebook, etc.

Powda, sometimes I think they read this board to decide on what topics to discuss, funny how 1-2 days after we chew on something the 610 boys have a back and forth on same topic.Agreed. M boards are a calmer more organized format in general. And you know posters here like @zshawn10 will share that material if its worthwhile anyway (thanks z.)
As for radio, I don't care for most of the personalities and the bulk of their opinions aren't groundbreaking or original. Just recycled.

I have no problem with that. I was raised without computers or internet until I was an adult. My only computer exposure in high school was using Encarta for research. I never got into social media.which generally, put us in the older and/or more conservative crowd versus the generation which cares for chaos more.
My wife and I still have a landline. To this day I still tell my son how big of a deal it was back in the day when the phone rang.I have no problem with that. Lol, I remember calling some of those from a rotary phone back in the day.Did you tell him about party lines?
Or how anything and everything went through a phone. No e-mail, no texting, no social media. Phone was all you had, unless you wanted to wait a week to send something in the mail.My wife and I still have a landline. As crazy as this sounds I was working for AT&T in 1982 when we removed the last party line in Houston. I also spliced the cable for a cell tower in our area in 1985. We worked on the first fiber ring in 1987. It seems funny that this technology is 30 to 35 years old now.Did you tell him about party lines?

I remember using bbs lists downloaded monthly. Exciting times when half the **** was mislabeled.

Several of those "radio personalities" from both AM stations have been known to post here in the past ….
I need proof that it’s yours. I’ve heard rumors of infidelity.
Sorry. Truth hurts sometimes.Wow. You went there. Hurts man.
Only Maury knows. We should probably go on that show to find out.
Well, gotta work sometimes! My husband doesn’t call me Sugar Momma for nothing! Not sure why my absence makes me conspicuous. You have been conspicuous by your absence around here the last few days.

You can ask for there to not be double standards.
