I feel like putting The team in that situation is more the problem than how the players botched that situation. It may be hard for you to see, but the Titans are a bad team & they led most of the game.
When the game was tied & we had to punt in the 4th Qtr... against a bad team, that says something when the best our OC could come up with is back to back WR screens that were as poorly blocked as we've always poorly blocked them.
In the same situation, the Titans drive on the verge of stalling, they roll their QB out with a play action bootleg, allowing the QB who runs out the back of the end-zone or tries to throw a forward pass twice on the same possession to set his feet, scan the field & convert a crucial third down.
Trust me, I'd so much rather the bulb goes off in O'bs head & he starts to maximize those few moments of genius that gave us hope in the past, than watch McNair fumble another HC hire.
But we're 0-2 & the Jags are handling the Patriots handily at the moment.
