My thoughts on the game:

Mario Williams has as many touchdowns as ESPiN proclaimed football gods Reggie Bush and Vince Young COMBINED!!!

PS: He also had 5 tackles and 2 sacks to go along with his fumble recovery/td combo today :-)

PPS: Texans looked pretty good today, they shut down Gonzalez and minimized LJ's effectiveness. Schaub had only like 2 or 3 bad throws all day and AJ showed why he is one of the best WRs in the NFL. Would've liked to see better blocking from the OL and special teams on the returns though. Secondary looked much better than expected, although our starting SS Jason Simmons tore his patellar tendon today which will force Michael Boulware into the lineup sooner than ideal. Ahman Green looked like a pretty good NFL back today and our defense as a whole looked awesome after the first drive.

The most important addition may prove to be Matt Turk over Chad "I cant punt the ball over 40 yards if my life depended on it" Stanley. Turk had the returners backing up on all his punts, I think we'll be winning the field position battle this year.

I thought I saw that VY ran for a TD today on a QB scramble.

Mario had a really good day today and hopefully we can see him maintain that level of play week to week. The added bonus is that he put up really great numbers as well. There will definitely be some games this season that his personal statistics don't describe the full impact of his play.

Our special teams are going to be a real positive for this team. We didn't see much in the return game today, but the kicking game was good. The punt deep on our territory was key in winning the field position battle.

We were the superior team today and played a solid game. We were in complete control of the second half of the game, which is what good teams do. This organization is learning how to win.

This was by far the texans best game in the last couple years besides the colts game last year. BY FAR THIS WAS MARIOS BEST GAME!
