Happy Thanksgiving Mark. Thanks for giving us all the best laugh in ages. If you haven't seen it yet, it'll be on deadspin and youtube momentarily.

Flipped channels for a second and the game went from 7-0 to 14-0.

Blinked and sanchez fumble to make it 21-0. Walked to another room, come back and it is 28-0 lol

Make that 35-0.

All in the 2nd quarter. The Jets are freaking hilarious!

i just showed my brother (who never watches or has any interest in fb)... we've both been nearly in tears for 5 mins laughing at this

Haha - was going to post the same thing about when I showed the girlfriend a few minutes ago.

On this joyous day - thank you for the blessing that is the comedic talent of Mark Sanchez.

I didn't think Mark could ever outdo his play as WR and flinched,he proved me wrong and showed me that he can definetly step up his comedy routine

so when is tebow coming in this game or next game if the pats score like 50 in NYC ...?????? LOL

How does he...why did he....I mean, huh?! LMAO!

How can he ethically draw a paycheck after that???

:wow:

i near died laughing at that one. dude misses the handoff to the fullback, cant find his halfback to hand it to, turns and runs, FACEPLANTS INTO HIS LINEMAN'S BUTT, and fumbles the ball ... for a touchdown.

the single greatest play in the history of football.

I think the best part is after the ball comes out and he sees the defender pick up the ball he just puts his head to the turf in defeat.

That was hilarious, I watched it 3 times and laughed every time I saw it! Can't believe what that team has turned into since going to two AFC Championship games. Crazy to think they were the 2nd best team in the conference just a couple years ago.

Thats what happens to a team who's defense falls apart and who's running game all but disappears and has to lean on a QB who is .... no better than a game manager.

lol at Collinsworth drooling all over Wilfork, he said at the time that Wilfork literally tosses his man into Sanchez...ala reggie white...

I sure wouldnt mind VW in the middle of this Texans defense .... I thought they might draft him in 2004 and sure wouldnt have complained had they taken him instead of "Pay Me Rick." (Tho I did have Robinson in my mock).

I hate the Jets and their head coach. This couldn't have happened to a more deserving team. Well, maybe the Cowpukes.

This could happen to anyone. It happened to me playing Madden when my controller stuck.

Did you comment that on YouTube as well?

im pretty sure that Tebow wouldve at least NOT SCRAMBLED INTO A FAT GUYS ASS. - THEBASEDBOB

If this happened in Madden, you'd throw down the controller and complain that that would never happen in real life! - Carl

It happened to Rex Ryan's team .... best possible target.

Did anyone watch Sanchez talking about it ? That poor kid looked visably shaken .... His confidence is absolutely shot. I thought he might break down and cry .... or just plain quit. Almost feel sorry for the guy .... but not really.

Don't hate on Sanchise! :)

That play was doomed from the start. Wow. Possibly the funniest chain of events I've ever seen outside of the Rosencopter.

You thought Rosencopter was funny? :toropalm:

Rosencopter was worse because it cost the game, whereas this play by Sanchez wouldn't have changed the outcome. The Jets were overmatched from the start. How did they ever get to 2 conference championship games?

"It's embarrassing," Sanchez said. "You screw up the play, and I'm trying to do the right thing. It's not like I'm trying to force something. I start to slide, and I slide right in the worst spot I possibly could: right into Brandon Moore."

:backsout:

I mentioned "Rosencopter" to my youngest son when we played the Vikings in pre-season (telling him about Rosenfels used to be our backup QB).

He was too young to remember Rosencopter, so we went online to see it.

This is the video we found. He laughed his ass off. It is pretty funny when presented in the right way. :D

So Sanchez was trying to slide at the LOS to avoid a sack, eh?

We got robbed a sack vs. Sanchez in our MNF game with them. Watt sacked him, but it was later ruled a QB RUSHING play. Pfffft!

Glad it caught up to him. Sucka!

That was actually Miami that had a sack taken away from Watt I believe.

This is NOT a "Hey, we should......" post. Not in the least.

Just asking the question, after a season like this is he salvageable? I mean, David Carr is still in the NFL so anything can happen right? If he can be salvaged then what would need to happen at this point?

The answer to that is totally up to Mark Sanchez. With Rex in NY may be the best opportunity for him though. A coach who believes in you. A stout (needs to get better) defense & a desire to run the ball (they need to get better here as well).

Jacksonville would be a good place for him to go. Strong defense, good running game, all he needs to do is step it up every once in a while.

But anyone expecting their QB to throw 30 times a game need not apply.
