Now who’s Texan 3rd rounders tonight?

Let's not forget Caserio's penchant for moving up in the draft. There wasn't an interior offensive lineman taken in the 1st round. So expect a run on them at some point. When that happens, don't be surprised if Nick makes his move. The Dolphins have only 4 picks in the draft, with their first pick at 2.51. I think that pick is for sale and Nick is looking to buy.

Who would the Texans be looking at in the 2nd? North Dakota State OT Cody Mauch was brought in for a Texans top 30 visit. The Texans aren't looking at OTs that high, and Mauch has short arms for a NFL LT and will likely be kicked inside. Inside all the way to C? Maybe, as some feel Centers are made, and not born. Mauch has a similar body to longtime NFL C Mitch Morse, who kicked inside to C after a college career at OT.

The other 3rd round pick could also be on the move, in a trade down. The Niners don't pick until 3.99 in the compensatory area of the 3rd round, but have 11 picks overall. Moving down to the end of the 3rd could find an a flexible defender like LB/S hybrid Marte Mapu. His play fits Coach Ryans "swarm" vision for the Texans defense.
