Thanks for your support!
Is he worth a 6th round pick in a trade?
Jesus Christ, looked it up and totally forgot/didn't realize we even spent a 2nd round pick on Lonnie Johnson.. let alone the compensation 2nd rounder we got for the Duane Brown trade. Damn, that was bad.
Texans, "Hold my beer and watch this" with the Hopkins trade.
I think the other team would demand a high pick #osweiler-esqueIs he worth a 6th round pick in a trade?
Was this another fat Travolta pick?!?!Jesus Christ, looked it up and totally forgot/didn't realize we even spent a 2nd round pick on Lonnie Johnson.. let alone the compensation 2nd rounder we got for the Duane Brown trade. Damn, that was bad.

Another DB that didn’t realise his potential under RAC, also. Was this another fat Travolta pick?!?!
I’m glad he’s gone. He sucks!A conditional 7th round pick two drafts from now seems like an insult to me.

He's actually not been able to prove himself as either a CB or a S...............mostly because he is a true knucklehead that has not taken well to coaching. You must be easily insulted,
He sucks.
Did not meet the Casereby seal of approval.Lonnie to Chiefs for 2024 pick.
Texans trade Lonnie Johnson Jr. to Chiefs
The Texans used their first choice, No. 3 overall, on LSU cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. and drafted Baylor safety Jalen Pitre in the second round to try to shore up their secondary. On Monday, corn…profootballtalk.nbcsports.com

Agreed he sucks, but he will likely have a ring before any of our best players. You must be easily insulted,

That said, would have preferred a 7th next season... but meh.

I know WHY it's 2 seasons away. Id just prefer the pick next season. That's just it, it's a CONDITIONAL trade AND the pick is in 2024 not 2023.
So, the guy goes to the Chiefs who kick the tires and if he doesn't end up on the team, we lose nothing. And if he does make the team and play, then we lose a 7th round pick two years from now.

Hard enough to care about a 7th rounder one season away even less when its two.
Hope you feel better soon.lol
I am sorry.
I'm fighting some sort of illness, and I'm not thinking straight.
In my head, we were GIVING them the 7th, not them giving it to us.
Like most of Nick's player trades, it's more for benefit of the player.A conditional 7th round pick two drafts from now seems like an insult to me.

Lonnie is in a good situation now & cost KC next to nothing. Texans probably get nothing if LJ doesn't make the team
I remember GB wanted Cobb. Their QB gave them an ultimatum. New Orleans was desperate & asked for Ingram. He was going to get cut for nothing.. let's wait until Caserio actually has a player of value to trade before we judge him on trades. I bet he would've gotten more than a washed David Johnson for Hopkins.
Oh wait, he had a sexual predator to deal with.. and won that trade.

Nick could have chosen to turn the screws , or simply say no. He didn't. He generously traded both away.
Dangit. I just edited the titlethread title: Lonnie Johnson thinks he's gone
.....and for once he was right!
Because only 1st rounders get 5 year options. That be my guess.why does it seem like most draft players can never make it past there 5 year option
