That's it. I'm only a fan of keeping 3 RBs on the active roster. If I HAD to add a 4th, it'd be Wali Lundy.
 
Green, then Dayne, Lundy and Gado. I don't see Taylor and Williams making the final roster. Then again, I've been known to be wrong before.

I think a lot depends on how healthy Williams is.

Lundy, Taylor and Gado need to be able to play ST to insure they have a spot on the 53.

welp we dont need to address RB in the draft this year.

Ahman Green and Ron Dayne are givens to me...or at least important.

how many are we going to keep? 4?

I'd have to say Chris Taylor would be next even though I havn't seen much of himi.

DDW will be gone. that leaves lundy and gado. Gado's from GB so..lol Lundy is from UVA so he and Schaub should be best buddies.

I think the ones that I bolded will be the top 4. I think Gado and DDW will be gone. I actually have my doubts about Lundy making the roster. If Lundy makes it, Taylor will probably be on the practice squad. However, the draft could change all of this.

they never played together, though. haha.

Taylor surpasses Lundy in TC...I think.

I gotta go with this one. Taylor showed some speed, vision and power. I like him as a prospect.

Gado isn't eligable to be put on the practice squad.

Its so hard for me to say that most likely Dominick Williams will be cut, after all he has done for the franchise but I think it is clear that his time in Houston will come to an end soon. Also I think Samkon Gado will join Williams. As for Chris Taylor who I think can play in the NFL as a suitutional back will be put on the practice squad and fill in when Dayne or Green get injured.

Its just too bad the NFL doesn't have a minor league. We could just send down Chris Taylor to the minor league system.....oh wait we do have one its called NFL Europe. :joker:
 
So whats the deal with Domanick Williams. I haven't heard anything about him lately. Obviously Ahman Green and Ron Dayne are here for sure. Is Williams staying?

It's doubtful that Williams will return to the Texans and I wouldn't be surprised if he is released before the draft. The last thing I heard (sorry, don't remember where) is that his knee started swelling again and a "specialist" has recommended more surgery on the knee. He probably will not be able to play again. It's definately a "bummer." :brickwall

I actually expect DDW to be either a June 1st cut, or released in training camp with an injury settlement.

"Loaded" backfield? Or do you mean "Crowded"?

Cedric Benson, Thomas Jones and Adrian Peterson in Chiacgo is probably loaded.

I think Green, Dayne, Lundy, and Taylor make the squad and Gado is released.
 
Since we have so much depth at RB, we could package Carr and Lundy together as trade bait. I would like to get a 2nd round pick back somehow. We could even throw in our 3rd round pick.
 
it might sound alittle on the stupid side but i really think that we should try and trade out dominic williams but another position because of the fact that we have so many rb's so far with green playing the starter and have dayne or lundy because i fell that he will be a break out star pretty soon but we shall see
 
the backfield is definetly loaded...be prepared for it to get even more crowded as kubiak will likely add atleast one more back via UDFA's...ramonce taylor has also been linked to the team so he could be a late round pick up as well
