Ok,
Someone with more time go back and tell me something?
- how many QB's do we have that throw the ball before the receiver makes the break on his routes.
It just seems to drive me batty.. we seem to wait so long before the balls is in the air for us.

The interception intended for Hopkins was thrown before DeAndre made his inside break. I'd say about 40% of our passes are that way. Dunno where you're coming up with this theory.

If you have that play on tape, can you look at how covered Andre is on that, Matt looked right at him and then moved passed that read. From my view on the field, which was slightly elevated it looked like Andre was completely open.
Timing and positioning have to be perfect when running these spot passes, but the QB's delivery can be mistimed even on patterns where the receiver sees him release the ball. I thought Case's releases were right on time Saturday. We may have ourselves a future starting QB.Ok,

I did admit it seems like it from my vantage point in the games, hence why I've asked. I'm down in the endzone so I get a much different view of the game that I really enjoy but sometimes it drives me batty too..
I need more hours in the day, reviewing game tape time isn't high in my list unfortunately.
Another thing you have to consider is that whole trust issue.
Schaub has to know that the guy running the route is going to be where he's supposed to be. With OD and AJ (and in the past with KW and Dreessen), he had that trust and he was willing to let the ball go early.
With these younger receivers, he doesn't have that sort of trust, yet. I think he's getting there with Hopkins and maybe Martin (although, there's always the issue of actually catching the ball with Martin.)
