Just add another questionable call to Kubiak's resume. Little by little he is showing the good ol' home folks of Houston he was not the coaching guru that was so much talked about by Denver. The fourth quarter call, 1:40 left, was the worst call of the year, and maybe in Houston's franchise history. Your up by 4, Buffalo has 1 timeout, and it's 3rd and 2. Football 101, run the ball and force the opposing team to either call the timeout or let time 40 seconds drift off the clock. This is only IF you don't make the first down. EVEN IF, EVEN IF you decide to pass, at least roll the QB out of the pocket, giving him the option to pass or run for a first down and end the game. I simply can't believe these coaches get paid to make bonehead decisions that affect, not only the franchise, but the individual effort of all the players that played their tails off! The defense started off rough, but Smith made the adjustments in the second half, forcing the bills to throw underneath and kill clock. The offense played well, up until shutting down the offense in the 4th quarter, and not making the wise decisions talked about earlier. Kubiak needs to be re-evaluated and not given a free pass, due to him being a "Houston Hero". Or, pay the real Denver coach to come in and coach.......Shanahan.
