Since McClain feels endowed with grading abilities, it is only fair that someone "grades" his "grades"...

Ability to grade Coaching objectively/fairly...McClain gets the "F" here. The players were not flat and fought back hard and fast to overcome a lead that would have buried the team prior to Kubiak. The coaching staff had the team ready to win in spite of key injuries that forced new personnel into the game on both sides. Even if you don't like the some of the 2nd half calls (and I don't), IMO the worst grade here is a C.

Ability to grade the QB position objectively/ surprise here either, McClain gets the "F". Carr is a much better QB than McClain is a sports writer.
Carr made several big plays with both his arm and his legs and he did not call the 3rd and 1.5yds to go slant. He did not commit the key fumble (Cook did...sadly again) etc...

Finally, in the interest of objectivity, IMO McClain did have the grades about right on the DL but then again even a broken watch is right twice a day. :wild:
