I know people who were rooting for as low of a record as possible probably didn't mind the huge chokejob to the Rams in the regular season, but every time the Texans lose, it puts me in a sour mood to start my week.
Even months later, when I look back at the Texans-Rams game, I still have that bad taste in my mouth.
I mean, think about it. Not only did we choke away a 20-something point lead in the second half of the game, but we did it to a really lousy team. And, we choked to a rookie quarterback, who had zero playing experience, and who ended up stinking badly in every single other game he played in after that.
Sure, it helped our draft status, but to let a team that bad crawl back in the game and beat us just shows what kind of team we have. It didn't really help the old Texan pride.
Does anyone else feel this way, like "I can't believe we lost that game"? Or is everyone too excited about having the number one pick to care? Maybe it's just me.
