Mallet hasn't played that bad. His first s6 or 7 passes were freaking dropped. He's plying behind a joke of an OL and this is only his third game as a starter. Call it excuses if you want but they're all facts too. He's a hell of a lot more fun to watch than Hoyer.

He's way more fun to watch than Hoyer, but you're lying to yourself if you think he hasn't been wildly inconsistent and inaccurate all day. There have been plenty of plays to be made. The WR's screwed up a bunch of them with drops and Mallett screwed up quite a few by turfing balls yards away form open guys. It goes both ways. You can't blame Hoyer when he stinks it up and then blame everyone else when Mallett is struggling.
