There is only one team I have ever followed and thats the UH Cougars. I became a lifelong fan watching the 1978 Cotton Bowl and I have followed them ever since. I have season tickets to both the Coogs and Texans and I am heading out to Robertson right now. Its football season in houston baby!!!

Have any of you been watching FSN's shows about the old SWC?? This morning they showed the '74 season in a nutshell. Great stuff. Baylor won for the first time in 50 years that year giving Grant Teaff the illusion he was hot ****. You can see in those highlights players from all teams could get away with murder, late hits etc, and not a word was said. Good times.
I'm waiting to the '76 highlights myself.

If I lived in Alabama I would be forced to choose one, and it would be Auburn. Since I was born in Bama but moved to Texas when I was around 8, I have the luxury of following both teams and not encountering any flak from it.
That said, my Mom is a huge Bama fan and my Dad is a big Auburn fan. I'm surprised they were able to live together at all.

Hey, watch your mouth! I graduated from SHSU too and I have many fond memories (that I don't quite remember). Plus, I met my wife there. It did get better once they let alcohol and tailgating on campus.
