Looks like the 49ers have taken the lead in the "Suck for Luck" race.
 
They need a quarterback in the worst way. They'd be pretty good with even with a mediocre qb. They should look into Jake Delhomme.
 
He got Jacoby Jones money .... but for one year instead of three.

I said in another thread I think they are much the same player ... Looks like they get much the same money.
 
3.5 mil for one year. dam. i would have loved to see him across from aj for that price. diva and drops aside, thats tremendous value.

We have the same guy without the Diva part .... at the same money for 3 years in Jacoby Jones.


Edwards was loking for a 1 year deal to maximize his value to cash in next year ..... I'd rather not feel used by a guy like him.
 
According to Jason La Canfora, it's actually just a salary of 1 year, $1 million. He only gets to 3.5 mil if he gets 90 catches/Pro Bowl. Damn.
