LMAO...If Dunta isn't a shutdown corner and never becomes capable of playing a teams #1 it was a mistake to draft him where we did...
You know, this whole "if X-player sucks then it was a bad draft decision..." thing is stupid.
These players all have potential. THEY are in control of their own destiny, not someone else. They were drafted based on their talent, and THEY are responsible for how they handle their careers.
It's a weak man who blames his production on someone else. Demand a trade if your such an "awesome" player and your stuck on such an "awful" team. Go somewhere where your talents will shine.
But the idea that Dunta might be a draft mistake is absurd. If he messes up, it's on HIM. He had the talent. He has his chances to trade out. But in the end it's up to him to sparkle and shine.
What I see from Dunta is "HOT AND COLD."
He says all the right things (HOT) and then he goes out and lays a friggin rotten egg (COLD), and then he shakes his head and puts his hands on his hips. Poor baby. Such a victim of the circumstances.
Shut your mouth, Dunta, and play the game.
I used to really believe in this guy, but he's going to become a cancer if something doesn't change. I think he's almost a goner (mentally, with respect to believing in the team). And if that's the case, trade his rear so we can get something for him.
"Bad draft decision..." No friggin way. He's just playing a big game: Talking big in interviews and then going out there and playing way below his capabilities.
Poor poor little Dunta. Wah-wah. I'm sick of that stuff more than I am anything else: people crying, then talking big, then playing little, then starting the whole process all over again. Time to pull the Mike Leach "Only two guys on the whole team will speak to reporters" act.
Well, I know this: The pressure is mounting, and if we lose the Skins game, then it will boil over and we'll have some drama to sit back and watch. Kubiak won't stand by and be quiet if we lose to the Skins. He'll come unglued.
So, one way or another...something big is going to happen on Sunday.
