COLTS’ MARLIN JACKSON OUT FOR SEASON
Posted by Michael David Smith on October 30, 2008, 1:46 p.m.
The Indianapolis Colts have an uphill climb ahead of them just to get to the postseason. And if they are going to the playoffs, they’re going without one of their defensive starters.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting that colts cornerback Marlin Jackson suffered a torn ACL and torn meniscus cartilage at Wednesday’s practice. He will need at least one knee surgery and is out for the season.

Jackson, a fourth-year player out of Michigan, started all seven games for the Colts this season and all 16 last season.

The Indianapolis Star reports that Tim Jennings is expected to replace Jackson in the starting lineup and that the Colts may re-sign cornerback Keiwan Ratliff to take Jackson’s spot on the roster.

You hate to see anyone go down with an injury. You shouldn't, however, hate to see the Colts get another chink in the armor. Especially when we have to play them one more time.
