Good game on tomorrow, looking forward to it. I am interested in watching this Bradford kid, I haven't seen him play but have heard a lot of good things about him. Should be fun.

I haven't seen him play so I want to see how good he really is. I'll be pulling for the Longhorns because in College I pull for all Texas teams especially when they play teams from Oklahoma.:kingkong:

T-minus 30 minutes!!

I can't wait...should be a good game. Everyone knows OU has a good team this year w/ a great QB at the helm. Some don't realize how well TX has been playing. McCoy has played lights out so far and I love the way Wil Muschamp has a very young defense playing. It's anybody's game, but IMO, if anyone thinks OU is just going to run away w/ this one, they haven't really watched McCoy or the TX defense play under Muschamp.

The TX defensive line has been able to apply heavy pressure on all the opposing team so far...that will be a key. Can TX front four w/ Roy Miller & Orakpo still get to Bradford w/ OU's good Oline? Another key matchup IMO is the experienced WRs of OU against the two starting freshman safeties of TX. I've been very impressed w/ the way the two freshman have played so far, but they haven't faced a pass offense like this yet. Should be a good one!

HOOK 'EM Horns!!

OU is better at the skill positions (all of them in fact WR, TE, RB) so I'm giving them the edge.......Texas really doesn't even have a "go to/top" RB and that's going to hurt them. Their WRs while very solid aren't the NFL caliber WRs that Bradford is going to throwing to today either......it amazes me how Stoops always rolls in with this kinda talent (and I bet they're all from Texas too)....makes me sick.

7-3 OU at the end of the 1st.

OU is getting a lot of pressure on McCoy. No running game so far either.

Texas isn't getting much pressure on Bradford at all, but the secondary has the WR's locked down. Bradford has been forced to tuck it and run about 5 times already.

I think Sooners will win unless UT defense can make some big plays...

As soon as I type this the 2nd quarter begins and OU goes straight down the field for another TD.

14-3

Well it finally happened.

One of UT's freshman safeties busted a coverage & gave up a 52 yd TD to Gresham.

Come on, all you Aggies on the MB, get behind the Horns for one day!

The Horns lack of running game is hurting them but McCoy is still finding his guys in the passing game.

21-17 OU.

is it just me or does quan cosby look like a small version of andre johnson... just the way he catches the ball and keeps his feet moving when hes getting hit.. i like thim... lol

Orakpo had that one sack, but I have seen him take ALOT of plays off.

Not just a few, ALOT.

I'm not sure what you're seeing, but I don't see that.

I underestimated Loadholt. He is doing a pretty good job on Orakpo. I've only seen Orakpo in the backfield 4 or 5 times so far.

Its 21-20 OU at the half.

A few things:

Running Game - OU has 13 yards on 13 attempts. Texas has -3 yards on 15 attempts.

Texas is winning the turnover battle & the special teams battle, but they are still losing.

Texas is controlling the clock but they are averaging 4.9 yards per play to OU's 7.3.

Do they announcers on the field and in studio seem to favor OU or is just me? I have heard several comments that have made me scratch my head. Stuff like "It's close but Texas has a special teams TD and a pick" .....and? It's a freaking team effort. The pick was caused by defensive pressure.

What about the non-touchdown by OU on the first drive, what about the non-pick UT almost had that would have 98 yards the other way. How about crazy TD that was deflected right into the WR hands? Apparently that's just standard ass whippin' but UT has gotten lucky?

And why can't OU fans and their stupid band get there own freaking symbol, all they do is do the "Horns" sign upside down......it makes me want to punch 'em. /rant.

OU is a very strong team, we will have our hands full in the second half, maybe a sack and a forced fumble by Arakpo or another pick can win it for us, it will be tough sledding. Good game so far. Hook 'em baby!

I think the lean from the announcers has to do with the fact that OU was favored by more than a TD.

When OU scores, it's with ease.

When UT scores, it's a struggle.

It's not looking good for the 'horns.

That's true, but its also by design.

OU has an explosive offense & they are making big plays against the young UT secondary.

Texas is coached by a very very very very conservative offensive coordinator so they move the ball very slowly down the field.

I think this is a benefit to Texas because the longer they hold the ball the less time Bradford has with the ball.

Ogbonnaya makes a big play in the running game.

30 yards. Now Texas has positive rushing yards again.

OU has stopped spying McCoy since Reynolds went out with an injury.

Colt is now making big plays with his feet.

Great game so far. Being an Aggie, and disliking both teams, I'd still rather see OU pull this one out.:pirate:

terrible refs in this game.... most of the calls have gone UT's way but its still not fair...

This is the worst I have ever seen from a group of referees.

The TD for OU at the beginning of the game where the kid clearly did not cross the goal line.

The two personal fouls on OU when they "hit" McCoy out of bounds.

And the two penalties on Texas when they "hit" the punter.

That OU punter should be up for an Oscar.

This is incredible.

Another easy score for the Sooners. That punt call was a killer... and even though it was an acting job - it was still a penalty - I don't think it was the personal foul variety of call, right? Just the 5-yarder, and it was 4th and 4, so that's not actually one of the bad calls of the game.

It shouldn't have even been a penalty.

Running in to the kicker is a 5 yard penalty.

Touching him with your finger is not a penalty.

Agreed. And there have been several no calls I have seen, mostly holding calls. Terrible calls all day.

Okay, so it's not one of those things where just TOUCHING the kicker after his follow-through is a penalty no matter how small the infraction? In that case, yeah - bad call.
