Do the Texans have any coaches there or just scouts? Any meetings with any players?
I believe they have an assistant OL coach there.Do the Texans have any coaches there or just scouts? Any meetings with any players?
I saw that. Was wondering how that wentI believe they have an assistant OL coach there.
Every team gets to meet with all 125 players that attended.
Say, that reminds me. Some of the same people saying Mills was the right pick are now saying it's time to move on & Center is one of the top needs.Remember losing my **** day 2 of draft in 2021 (Texans 3rd rd picks already made) for Chargers with Meinerz still on the board when they selected Josh Palmer. I mean I went off…. but he was still on the board later 3rd when Chargers had 2nd 3rd, Meinerz right there for the taking, Chargers select Trey McKitty TE next pick 98th overall, Denver Broncos Quinn Meinerz. Rest is history, right side of Chargers line collapsed, losing two starters beginning of season. McKitty looks like a bust and Palmer only flashes. So I get it.
Isn't C.Harris our WILL? then we've got Wallow.
Difference is Chargers had their franchise QB. If Texans hadn’t drafted Mills they essentially had no QB. I knew Tyrod couldn’t stay healthy, red flag medical, don’t see much choice other than being proactive to move up (everything else is hindsight) was below average draft class, depth wise and Mills has done plenty to earn on investment.Say, that reminds me. I'm not saying that. But... it's what I hear.
So all this happened before the season. We were in rebuild mode. Bunch of jags waiting to get picked up & "bridge" you to better days.Difference is Chargers had their franchise QB. We could use him as a nickel or box safetyIsn't C.Harris our WILL? then we've got Wallow.
Hanson/Cashman on the strongside seems to demand more attention.
Ok... I get it. I'm looking more at need.
If we were to get this guy, what would we do with him? Does that move Harris to MIKE? I know Kirksey doesn't have many fans here, but is Harris a MIKE LB?
I really like Avilia at Center. There aren't many 6'4 centers, but he's one of the rare guys who can play at that size.
Avila will be gone at the top of the 2nd.I think he's going to be gone by 3-64.
This always happens guys that are projected to go later that I like end up going earlier.Avila will be gone at the top of the 2nd.
So the Texans drafted for need. Sometimes you have to do that.If Texans hadn’t drafted Mills they essentially had no QB.
I think this guy should be getting more love.Purdue TE Durham with a nice catch.
Durham has really helped himself this week. Type of TE depth Shanahan/DeMeco likes.Purdue TE Durham with a nice catch.

Durham has also been playing some FB, and even got a carry early.Durham has really helped himself this week. Type of TE depth Shanahan/DeMeco likes.
Cunningham has made a couple decent throws, but he runs too much. If he want's a job in the NFL, he needs to show that he can be a passer first.Louisville QB Malik Cunningham looks like a rusher only so far. He's looking to run right away.
Hull has looked good.Hull reminds me a little of Austin Eckler, keeps pad level low, shifty good hands.
I think this guy should be getting more love.
Cody Mauch just seems to look good no matter where he plays. He may not make it out of the 1st round.
It got tough for Bagent in the red zone. Have to process quicker. Looks like he needs a year on the practice squad before he sees an NFL field.Shepard QB Bagent not looking too bad. 7th round or UDFA?
I'd gladly take him @ 2.34, and try to get Schmitz in the 3rd, or Oluwatimi later.I'm thinking a team like the Bengals or Bills may pick him at the bottom of the 1st. He's really impressed me. 2-32?
Other guys who've impressed me in this game, TE Mallory and S Scott.
Probably should stick to running.Cunningham has made a couple decent throws, but he runs too much. If he want's a job in the NFL, he needs to show that he can be a passer first.

Which means he will probably go undrafted.Probably should stick to running.
Technically, our pick is 2.34, but it is the 33rd pick overall.I edited my post, It's actually 2-33.
After this week I'm thinking I would pick him at 2-32 and put him at center. He's a 10 yr starter. IMHO
