Las Vegas police want to talk to Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones about the triple shooting at Minxx Gentleman's Club, an NFL source told Vegas Confidential.

Jones was among a number of celebrities -- including rapper Nelly and Janet Jackson's boyfriend, music producer Jermaine Dupri -- who were at the club when the shooting erupted about 5 a.m. at a private event called Harlem Knights, sources said.

Also, Las Vegas sports talk host Steve Cofield, citing his own sources, reported that Jones' group incited a commotion after someone threw large amounts of money into the crowd. Two security guards were among the injured, said Cofield, a co-host on "The Wise Guys" on Fox Sports Radio 1460.

A Las Vegas police spokesman said the investigation had not reached the point where they were prepared to name a person or persons of interest.

Looks like his NFL career could be over just as it was getting started. He's got some sort of overhanging probation for public intoxication and I wouldn't be surprised if he was cut for this. There are also bizarre Pac-Man biting allegations that were reported on NFL.com. Remember the Pac-Man ride confiscated in some sort of drug deal, another nightclub incident this season, etc. This looks like a final straw, at least for Tennessee.

I know there are two sides to every story... but the people most interested in bringing the shooter to justice are fingering Jones for the melee and his entourage for the shooting.

In a related note, he's not the first, nor will he be the last, supremely gifted athlete to squander his talent.

This dude needs to change his entourage or something. It's unreal how much trouble this dude gets into.............having said that, there were signs there when he was in college so tenn. knew what they were getting into.

1st thing he did wrong was going to LV. With his history, and in that atmosphere, something bad was bound to happen!

I hope he is like the cancerous T.O. and implodes the entire East Austin football team.

Report: Video Shows Pacman Punch Stripper, Bite Bouncer
According to Sports by Brooks, Sporting News Radio today reported that a surveillance video inside the Las Vegas strip club Minxx recorded Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones punching a stripper and biting a bouncer moments before three people were shot at the club.

Wow.

Anybody that can find this video and post it here, gets rep from me....

man...not good. even if he didn't do any of that, it still says a lot that he's linked to it somehow...wrong place wrong time doesn't hold water with me. people who often get in trouble..set themselves up for it.

Does this improve the odds of Tennessee drafting a CB in the draft like Leon Hall or Darrelle Revis?

Jones did some amazing things for the Titans last year. He's a bad boy, so he wasn't recognized for a lot of that stuff. Just guessing, I think they are going to try to find some way of keeping him. Why do I think this?

PacMan is treated differently than other players on the team. link

If there is some way that PacMan stays out of jail, then the Titans are going to try to find a way to keep him.

He's one of the most talented players in the league but what the Titans have to decide is the talent worth all the mounting baggage.

I say you give him an ultimatum buckle down become one of the best players in the league or be a thug and never reach your potential.

I'm a bit fired up about this so apologies in advance, but you've got to be kidding... He's had the ultimatum...he's had about 7 of them.

In October 2003, Jones was sentenced to one year in jail following a bar fight in Morgantown, WV where he and other West Virginia University football players allegedly beat another student with a pool cue, but the sentence was suspended and he was placed on two years probation.

On July 13, 2005 Jones was arrested on charges of assault and felony vandalism stemming from a nightclub altercation.

On September 5, 2005 Jones was a guest at the annual Nashville Sports Council Kickoff Luncheon. Later that evening, after a loud verbal tantrum when he was told to wait in line for his vehicle, Jones was counseled by the police. He also refused to pay for any valet services used that evening.

In October 2005, in a petition filed by the state of WV, it was alleged that Jones had not made regular and sufficient contact with his probation officer and that he did not report his July arrest in Nashville in a timely fashion.

The Judge granted the probation extension of 90 days, even though the state requested for it to be extended up to a year.

On August 25, 2006, Jones was arrested in Murfreesboro, Tennessee for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. He claimed a woman stole his wallet. She claimed that she did not steal anything and Jones spat on her. Police officers said they ordered Jones to leave several times, but he refused and continued to shout profanities at the woman. A judge granted him six months probation on the conditions that he stays out of further trouble and away from the nightclub[1]

On October 26, 2006. Jones was cited for misdemeanor assault for allegedly spitting in the face of a female student from Tennessee State University during a private party at Club Mystic, a Nashville nightclub. He was suspended by the Titans for one game and was scheduled to be booked on the charge on November 17, 2006.

In February, Jones went to the NBA All-Star Game in Las Vegas. While there he went to a local strip club, and is alleged to have been involved in an altercation with a stripper. The club later became the scene of a shooting, and Jones could possibly be charged with multiple offenses.

Sorry, the "wrong place at the wrong time" and "innocent until proven guilty" crowd couldn't be more wrong. One time? Sure, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Two times? OK, really bad luck. Eight times? POS. He is a POS, was a POS when we drafted him, and will be a POS for the rest of his life.
If you are a fan of the NFL then you should be calling for this guy being banned from the league...permanently. Making millions of dollars a year for playing ball is an extremely rare privilege...NOT a right.

Listen to this interview from the club owner and then tell me if you don't agree.

Keep in mind that if you are an NFL fan that YOU are paying this guy's salary. Whether you buy tickets to the local NLF team or watch it on TV those dollars end up in this guys pockets.

Well I'm definitely scared. Pac-Man single handedly won us a few football games last year. If he goes, I am going to expect another .500 or worse season.

All they have to do is fit Fat Albert with some longer cleats.

That would be extremely nice, but with the money the titans have to spend this offseason, it would take a monumental effort to finish with a record like that.

Here's to hoping that pacman's newest and greatest concern is the dropping of soap.

Susnar said his recollection of the events was based upon his interviews with employees and club surveillance video. He said the trouble started after 4 a.m., when Jones and his entourage of a half-dozen people returned to the club for the second time that evening. Jones tossed hundreds of $1 bills on the stripper stage, Susnar said, adding that when a dancer started grabbing the money without Jones' permission, he got angry, grabbed her hair and slammed her head against the stage.

Security guard Aaron Cudworth, a mixed-martial artist with professional fighting experience, intervened and scuffled with Jones and members of his entourage, he said. Jones then threatened to kill the guard, Susnar said.

“Pacman bit Aaron (Cudworth) in the leg, took a big piece out his leg. He escaped from Aaron while he was wrestling with the other people and ran to the other side of the stage and to proceed to punch another dancer in the face. This is all clearly shown on our surveillance tapes, so for him to say he wasn't involved is absolute nonsense," said Susnar in a phone interview with Channel 4 News.

I wonder how long until these surveillance tapes are viewed by law enforcement. It just seems like there's too many people speaking up that all saw basically the same thing for him to get off scott-free this time. On the other hand, it is pro sports....

Soooo, basically he beat up two girls and bit a guy on the ankle. Sounds like a real tough dude to me.

Ok, I confess. I did it. I threw the money, I pimp-slapped the stripper, I bit the bouncer, and I shot the gun. Pacman had nothing to do with this...

PS. hey pacman, i need that money in my account by monday...
