Wow! It says Khari made that post for game 6 on September 2nd. :yikes: That's a long wait for a game.

:shoot: I believe this might be the start of the implosion . If the Texans defense keeps it close again at halftime and the offense can't put the ball in the endzone ... we might see Sage in the 3rd with the game on the line . Why because they can't go into Tennesee sucking .

I wish I was as confident as you guys. We can never manage to blow you guys out even when the numbers say we should, and I'm worried it's going to be close like that again. I said Jags 27 Texans 10 on the JagNation board, and that's with a little positive thinking and under the assumption that Byron plays.

I think there's plenty of bulletin board material for the Texans to work with... the Jaguars are really making it seem like they can bring their B-team and win.

Things to look for:

Leftwich/Garrard- If Byron plays he'll make a nice target for Mario/DeMeco, but he'll likely torch our secondary. If Garrard plays, I promise you, Kubiak will let these guys know it's because J-Ville thinks we stink. Leftwich isn't hurt badly... him not playing will simply be a risk/reward decision.

Fred Taylor's been complaining- He's not getting enough touches to trigger incentive clauses... will the team reward the squeaky wheel, or will MJD get more touches?

MJD- is he the shortest player in the NFL? Is he the most exciting? Is he Earl Boykins on grass? I'm looking forward to watching this guy play.

Gado- Proven opportunist. Does he take the job and never look back? I think we'll involve him in the passing game a bit more. It's going to be tough running unless we can establish the passing game (not just AJ) early.

Mario- He's going to take another step forward today, I predict. I'll be really excited if I see him disrupting some of their RB screen/flare/dump off stuff today.

Carr- Pressure's on in front of the home crowd. He's been great at times, but is coming off of his worst performance. This season and game is crucial for him, he's gotta be good and he's gotta produce wins. His run as a victim of circumstance will end and things will really get ugly if he and the team don't show sustained, marked progress over the duration of the season.

AJ- As the best player on the offensive unit, he's gotta be flawless. Instead of regressing to the team's lesser standard of play, he's gotta be inspirationally good. No dropsies, tons of YAC, and lots of fight.

Time for the Texans to step Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The D Line is not looking too promising today.
Anthony Weaver has a hurt toe. He practiced Wednesday. Travis Johnson has a hurt knee (from playing the Cowgirls). He practiced Wednesday and is hopeful for today's game. Lets hope Kalu and Thomas Johnson are ready to play.....Moving on, Anthony Maddox was signed off the practice squad and will start at right tackle with Lional Dalton (who hasn't played 1 play with the Texans) backing him up. That would make Mario at right end our senior lineman, he of course is still developing. Babin usually spells Mario but is having back spasms and is doubtful for today’s game which means Antwan Peek (who has 1 tackle to his credit this year and is coming off an injury himself) will be backing Mario.
Man-O-Man, talk about an opportune time for some Texans to step up, it believe today is the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crutch:

Let's Get Ready To Ruuuuummmmmmmmmmbbbbbbblllllllleeeeeeeeeee!

I look forward to both Jacksonville games every season no matter how bad our team seems to be doing. It's going to be an exciting game.:redtowel:

Texans: 24
Jaguars: 20

You know why Jacksonville's a good team? Because each week I have no idea how they win but..........they just win. They just keep beating people.

Today? Expecting different results from the same action is insanity.

Let me guess, we'll try to run, it'll fail, we'll try to throw, it'll work...and then it'll fail, the defense will start strong...and then fail, we'll kick a field goal instead of going for it 4th and 2 on their 11 and then they'll score a TD, we'll have a big fumble, make a couple of key mistakes that cost us first downs, Robinson will throw his hands up in disgust, Andre will drop a couple, and the Tight Ends will be non-existant, Weigart will shake his head after the big sack, Carr will watch the big screen to see the replay of himself, Thomas Johnson will get a BIG roughness call, Travis Johnson will make ONE play and then celebrate as if he's the best DT in the NFL, and then Weaver will be interviewed after the game in a suit explaining how hard they've been working and will continue to work all along smiling to the camera about how the team is right on the verge of becoming the team that the fans were hoping for.

Repeat for Weeks 8-11.

Texans 24
Jags 17

Yeah, I'm insane! :bananasplit:

here's hoping for a good one. i see us staying close on this one as we have a tendency to play the jags tough, and getting a late score to pull it out:twocents:
