Great opening weekend. Nail biters, shoot outs, overtime.

One of the things I've found interesting is that new 25 yard line touchback rule hasn't changed things much. In preseason kickers were kicking shorter, not wanting to give up those 5 extra yards. Now they're kicking back into the endzone and the returners are taking them out.

Watching the pats. Here comes Jimmy "aka Janeane" Garroppoppopppopplo.
Lets see if he was worthy of them trading up before us to get him..

Hmm. Maybe Brady being out isn't going to help us as much as we think.
Janeanne looks ready to play.. (and against the AZ defense too!)

Yep. Not much of a dropoff with Garoppoppopoppoppppppolo.
Looking like it's
gonna be just as tough as it would have been with Brady when we face them

I'm thinking the psychic powers comment is best directed at you. Those of us who have watched the NFL for more than 15 minutes understand every dog has his moment - doesn’t equate to a norm or career.

Are you watching the game or calling upon some latent psychic powers?
AZ is a superbowl contender. Don't know how much more of a lead Brady would have
if he was in there..

I bet Brady would have been throwing on that last possession.

Carson Wentz is a stud. Philly going to get him will be remembered very fondly for many years.
I didn't see any of that gme, not even highlights, but judging from the stats he quite a coming-out-party today. Good for the Eagles and good for Wentz. I'm looking forward
to seeing him play.

I love Cole Beasley. We need a guy like that.
Cole Beasley (sometimes affectionately referred to as Thor) is one of my two favorites with the other being Sean Lee. I really "like" most of the others, but those two really stand out to me.

RGIII going to IR.

That dude is like a whole player made out of material from Brian Cushing's knees.
RGIII's injury if a coracoid fracture of his left shoulder (non-throwing)...................and EXTREMELY rare shoulder fracture. It usually doesn't happen from direct trauma. It is typically an avulsion fracture, where the attached muscles pull the end of the projecting coracoid process bone off.

With a coracoid fracture, I was wondering why RGIII was placed on IR..............The reason is that they just released the fact that his injury was complicated by an A-C separation.

Very curious to see how Keenum does. Second year with the Rams, he should be relatively comfortable. For those that watched Hard Knocks, have the Rams found any weapons yet? I know that's been an issue for many years.

I'm a bit behind after a pause (haven't seen Gabbert yet), but Hyde really needs to be checked out. He took a shot around the beginning of the 2nd quarter that bounced his head twice, and again around 9:20. Both seemed to cross his eyes as he got up slowly.
