Open letter to Mr.McNair

Dear Mr.McNair,
First off, I want to thank you. For several years, I could have cared less about the National Football League. My hometown, the town I was born and raised in, had no proffesional team. Then you stepped up big-time and brought the Texans to town. Thankfully, I have something to be upset about. Now, this brings me to the point of my letter. I'me sure running the Texans has to be like running any buisness, and by that, I mean you have to be concerned about customer satisfaction. These days, we aren't very satisfied, to say the least. You cannot ignore the constant complaints that are being aired on these message boards. These are your customers! Many of whom who have invested deeply, both financially and emotionally in this team. I read in the Houston Chronicle recently where you had a meeting with your partners. Let them air their concerns and complaints and let them in on the plan for the future of this current team. Well, I hope your paying attention to the concerns and complaints of your most important partners-the fans. We want so badly to root for a winner and this current team is showing no signs of hope. Please take whatever steps are neccesary to ensure a bright future for proffesional football in Houston,Tx. Thank you.
Sincerly,
A Concerned Fan, Go Texans!

PS,

The next regime of coaches to that comes in... please let it be one w/ a win now mentality. I understand it takes time for a team to gel. But at least there will be a fire in the team ready to torch every opponent throughout the season. Other than that, thanks for bringing the NFL back to Houston.

Another concerned fan.

PPS,

Dear Santa.....err I mean Mr. McNair,

Please get us an Offensive line that can protect our QB and a Defense line that can actually rush the opposing team's QB. (Please father protect me from the temptation of becoming a closet Steeler fan.)

I like Capers, he seems like a great guy (honestly he does.) But Please, bring us a new coach and a new GM. Make some moves in the offseason to win NEXT year. It can happen, lots of teams in recent history have shown us that.

P.S.
If possible please attend the Big 12 Championship game which will be at Reliant Stadium on December 3rd. The Texas Longhorns vs. Colorado/ Iowa State(TBD). I want you to see the Horns play and dominate (something we have never done) and maybe get some ideas. Maybe like firing all coaches and start from scratch. Think of how it would be to have a field general like the one Texas has. A hometown guy that probably will win the Heisman and win a National championship, and might go pro and be the next Randall Cunningham in his prime , and maybe let some person that hasnt done much go and save a few million on your salary cap(HINT *****HINT****HINT):texflag:

Well, at least it's nice to have an owner who really wants to win games. That's more than I can say about a lot of other teams.

Maybe he don't want to win bad enough.Did you see in the Houston paper where it said McNair payed 700 million on the fanchise, but gave Capers a limited budget to hire a coaching staff?Nobody thinks we have very good coaching .I wonder why could it be Capers is working with the best he could get with the money McNair gave him?

Young won't win Heisman or a national championship this year.

BTW in a 3-4 the primary function of the defensive line is to occupy blockers so LBs or DBs can blitz and get to the QB, but when you only send one LB every play it's kind of hard to pressure a QB.

I've seen the funny boycott letters, now the big stuff from Message board posters. Gee this beats the threats on not being a fan if they don't get their way. Yawn.. get a grip people, their's thousands football fans out there to take your place. Just see the beerman, and tell him about your customer satisfaction.. I'm sure he'll take the time to hear you out... just because he's walking away from you like your nuts.. doesn't mean that he's not concerned. :texflag:

Do you have anything to add to any conversation on this board? I invite all board members to peruse your post history. The entirety of your offering to this board is sarcasm and ridicule directed at other members. You do not offer blatant personal attacks, because that would get you banned, but your personal attacks are there, nonetheless. If you'd like to actually discuss football, we'd love you to join in. If you have absolutely nothing to offer aside from sarcasm, please go away. The first few times were excuseable. You've far exceeded anything a gentleman would find excuseable.
