Damn, I would do just about anything for a Texan win tonight!!!!!!!!!
If I thought it would do any good, I would fly up to Seattle myself.

Greetings from Bonney Lake WA (about 40 min. southeast of Seattle).

Cloudy overcast and in the 50's here now. Much like a January day in Houston. I love it - great football weather.

NWS is calling for temps in the 50's with a 20% chance. If the gametime weather is like last night, it's going to be great - as long as the wind stays down. Since we've been here the rain has been very light.

Sounds like football weather to me. Hopefully two NFL teams show up tonight! The stadium looks beautiful in pictures....let us know how it compares to Reliant.

Kind of interesting to hear it might be raining. I was listening to the pregame show for Fresno State and they have former head coach Jim Sweeny on. By the way he's one of the coaches poll voters. Anyway they were discussing the previous weeks game at New Mexico State. They were talking about FSU running and Sweeny made the comment that the best attack in the rain is really the passing game. The reason is precise route running of the receivers and the fact that defenders don't know where the cuts are going to be made. Its easier for the receivers to maintain their footing. He was a stickler for precise route running and he produced a number of talented WR's. I thought that was interesting because many believe that the runners have the advantage in wet weather.

Along with Jamie .... looks like RAIN to greet them also.

Cold and rainy forecast in Seattle:
Totally typical weather for Seattle, which is real unfortunate. Not necessarily
because of the game but the scenery. In terms of sheer physical beauty, Seattle is spectacular but overcast and rainy far too much to enjoy the
vistas.

They seriously need a win. Hell, us fans need a win.

C'mon, Texans. It sure would be nice if all 3 Houston teams won this weekend - so what if the Rockets game was a pre-season game, it was a win. lol

Go Astros too!!!

Not to mention the fact that they also have the one of the highest suicide rates in the nation, as a result. Fantastic scenery when the weather is nice, though. A win would be a great souvenier. :texflag:

So is today the day we turn this thing around and get to our winning ways OR is this the day the wheels come flying off? Here's to a primetime win!

I hope our offense shows up just so the game is interesting. I hope we don't give up more than 10 sacks this game. I hope for peace on earth.

maybe you got a shot at that last wish. i dont know about those first two.

C'mon Texans, the Stros just had a BIG WIN lets keep the momentum going, lets get out there and win one for the gipper (whoever that is). :texflag:

Actually, I remember looking at MSN's information on number of sunny days, number of rainy days, etc. because I worked for Bank United which was bought by Washington Mutual and they wanted me to move to Seattle. Turns out, Houston loses, on average, in the comparison. I still stayed in Houston though. Go TEXANS!

Can y'all believe the way the Astros won tonight? Man alive! I think I've lost my voice.

Psyched about the 'Stros winning the weekend. Rockets beat the Spurs in a pre-season game yesterday. LAWD PLEASE let the Texans pull off a win for the weekend Tri-Fecta.

*where is the praying emoticon when you need it?

So far, 2 plays, 6 flags and one picked up. These refs need to stop pansy fartin around and let the men play. Jeez this is getting rediculous. :bomb:

2 penalties on the "best LT on the team". Nice.

Wand isn't suited up again today, unless something changed at the last minute.
