If I didn't know better and was only reading this message board, I would think that the Texans were 0-6 and not just 0-1 with their only loss being a road loss against a team that is probably playoff bound.(Every expert in the NFL picked the Bills to win that game.)
I am hearing more doom and gloom than I have ever heard before.
Fire this person, fire that person. Questioning every draft pick ever made. Come on, the season is not even close to being over.
We are still a team on the rise. The Texans have only had one bad game this season.(Don't bother bring up preseason because it doesn't matter, ask Big Ben, the Colts, and the Broncos.)
Yes, the Texans didn't look very good last week. But I have watched the game three times now and all I can say is other than a subpar pass rush our Defense played great. They were on the field too much(so they were tired) and started with bad field position, both of those because of offensive turnovers. But we have a lot to be positive on the defensive side of the ball. All we need is for some of those Defensive guys to step up and make big plays, gets some INTs, creates some fumbles, and create havok.
This is a new week for the offense and a good rattling can work wonders sometimes.
Yes this is going to be a tough week. Even if we lose, 0-2 is not the end of the world. EVERYONE who knew anything about football knew these were going to be tough games. We start off by playing the #1 and #2 defenses from last year. Yes, they are going to make our offense look bad at times, that is after all how they got to be the #1 and #2 defenses last year.
Relax. Have faith and wait a few weeks before we all start calling for the coaches, players and managements heads. (Trust me I have these same feelings, I wanted Palmer fired on the spot when he had us run on 1st & 20, and I had steam coming out of my ears when Capers decided not to go for it on 4th and inches, down in the 4th quarter.)
enjoy the show!!
