2011 TexansTalk Member Mock Draft (FULL)

RULES

Will NOT start until after the combine. The NFL Scouting Combine will be held February 23 – March 1, 2011

Minimum of 4 rounds, but want to go 7 full rounds.
24 hour clock in the 1st round.
12 hour clock in the subsequent rounds.
Clock stops over the weekend but picks can still be made.
If you miss your pick it will be made for you.
If you know you will be gone for awhile, and might miss your pick, feel free to PM someone your top X players to proxy pick for you.
NO TRADES.

EDIT: I would like to get teams assigned as soon as possible, so I can watch players during the combine for that team, in addition to players for the Texans.

Once we have enough participants we can have someone randomly assign the teams.

Just gonna throw this out there. I'm busy on weekdays but I have plenty of free time to do what I want to do.

If we're gonna do this on a weekend then count me out. There is no way I'll have time.

This is not a weekend thing. Clock stops on weekends, but picks can still be made. I know that everyone here has a real life, and have things to do.
 
just a thought I had, but to make sure people don't forget about this ish, everyone should have to subscribe to the thread with daily email updates to keep it fresh on their minds.... yes, it will probably be annoying, but it will be less annoying than waiting three days for someone to make their pick like it sometimes happened last year

As long as the time limits are adhered to, and a plan in place for making the pics for the tardy, I think we can do without e-mail reminders.

Should we have a sign up deadline? That way we can assign teams? I would assume anyone that is interested and online enough would have seen this sticky thread by now.

We should allow as many as people as possible to take part but if we limit members and have everyone take on two teams or whatever it may keep things interesting and force people to follow up.
 
I would be happy to take on 2 teams.

I've studied up on the Lions,Bears,Pats,Cowgirls and Dolphins in addition to the Texans.

When to close entry is totally your decision SM.

It would be nice to figure out which team that we're picking for. As soon as possible.

Agreed. The more we know about the teams we're picking for the better the mock will be.
