Peyton and the colts

At the beginning of the game:

PEYTON LOOKS SLOW AND TENTATIVE (knee?)-with even a penalty for delay (unheard of for Peyton)

His line looks out of syn (new make shift composition?)

receivers out of syn (Peyton out for so long?)

If this pattern continues, we can preliminarily conclude that the Colt are suffering from their injuries and may not resemble the Colts of old any time soon.........we'll see.

They don't look too good right now. Peyton just got sacked inches away from his own endzone.

whacka whacka whacka whacka. 22-13 Bears. All of a sudden the Colts don't seem so big anymore.

You know how some people thought they would falter last year? Well I think their reign at top is about to come to an end or atleast pause for this year.

I predicted the Colts House of Cards would fall last year, but to no avail. Maybe this year....

I'm not feeling to hot about the Jags either. I really think Garrard returns to normalcy this year. Their D became softer with Stroud gone. Their two rookie DE will not have much impact this year either. Their running game is going to be less effective with Freddie getting older, and I don't think MJD can carry the load. Their WR still sucks and is battling for worst WR corps in the division against the Titans.

My divisions prediction:

Colts finish second, Jags finish last. I have a hard time seeing us as #1, especially after today's game. So that leaves the Titans, their D and run game might be enough to get them on top, even with QB that seems to harm his team more then help.

Goodness but the thought of the Titans winning this division makes me want to hurl...I admire the heck out of Coach Fisher and liked Vince when he was at UT but the Titans? Winning the division?

I'm gonna start praying right now that NEVER happens.

Funny how that new stadium seems awful quiet. Less speakers to pump in noise huh? Also seems like their stadium got invaded by Bears fans. LOL

anyone noticing how the bears D looks great out there... they're not blitzing. just rushing 4 every play.

Its quieter cuz the roof is open. Domes tend to be louder than open stadiums.

Much was made of how awesome and "smart" the Colts fanbase was. They got outcheered by Bears fans and didn't seem that loud at all. Even the fairweather fans at Reliant get louder than that.

You're right on there.

After the first quarter, all I could hear was Bears fans.

Stay classy Indianapolis.

I don't have the heart to send an email to my smart assed brother-in-law Colts fan. The Bears just gave me a bright spot in an otherwise crappy day.

Is anyone gonna send the film to Richard Smith so he can implement this or should I say "A" defensive scheme? :)

well actually, thats kinda his MO... just goes to show what happens if you have the right personnel. im not a richard smith fan and i think he should base his D over the personnel he does have (ie we should be more creative because we dont have the talent to play straight up good defence) but just saying the rush 4 he wants to use can be a very effective D

Forte looked really good tonight. I think he has a decent chance of winning OROY

He impressed me and that was the first time I have seen him play. He has some speed and some good moves. I would have been more excited about the Colts loss if the Texans would have at least made a game out of their game versus the Steelers.

So it's.....

Titans 1-0
Jags 0-1
Colts 0-1
Texans 0-1

If the Titans make the move and start Collins they could win the division. He might be starting for 2-4 weeks now anyway. If we can get our act together maybe we can make some noise in the division.

The AFC South is a strong division but based on the first games played by each team the division looked bad yesterday.
