I don't even think we'll go 5-0.

I didn't want to encourage this thread by responding, but since you guys jumped in, maybe we can make it worthwhile.

ClutchFans.net has a policy that new members can't post new threads until they have "proved" themselves. Have the mods here ever considered that?

This is how I read your reply...

:spit: LMAO...

You can't honestly believe that a team who just finished their best season ever at 8-8 could go undefeated in the toughest division in the NFL.

Like, for serious?

Well if you add our wins and losses from last year you get 16-0 wich is almost there.

Are you stoned?

Just think of this thread as the Ying to the Yang of all the "The NFL hates us and the season is already a disaster because of the horrible horrible schedule" posts. I'm thinking most are at least somewhat tongue in cheek.

Average out everything, and it's pretty darn realistic.

I'm guessing this thread was started because of the MNF announcement? Just a guess here...We should win our share of games if we can stay healthy. That's all I will committ to at this point in the year.

Considering our schedule and our nack for injuries, I'll be happy if we just make over the hump to 9-7.

I want to make the playoffs, sweep the titans and split with colts and jags, Oh ya, and dominate the cowboobs in preseason....

Someone give up some rep for me. I'm rolling over here. I love it!

I voted yes too.... why not think big, whats the point of going in to something expecting failure.... I expect the team to win every game, it is 11 on 11 they all put their pants on the same way, why can't we win it all?

Come on GlassHalfFull, I thought you were meant to be the board optimist?

LOL, look at my sig. I still am the optimist. Or does my name refer to the fact that I always have at least half a glass of wine in hand? hmm :glasshalffull:

I'm not quite ready to drink the kool aid just yet, but i think 18-1 with a road loss to the colts sounds good though.:fans:

My thoughts are, if we find ourselves with a running game, we can make it over the 8-8 hump this year. If not, it's gonna be a long season. Until we can run the ball, winning games in our division will continue to be a struggle.

Funny how unrealistic expectations are okay if it's the Texans going undefeated, but if it's Reggie Bush talking about winning the MVP then it's bad...

The truth is that Reggie "should" have been in the running for MVP by now based on his draft stock. The fact that him being an MVP at this point is considered "unrealistic" means only one thing.... bust (or near bust). He needs to focus on the gridiron and not Kim K.

8-8 is a bit pesamistic...

id say 10-6 is realistic

we are way to talented to expect only an 8-8 season...

maybe the ball finally bounces our way this year, i like our offseason so far but 10 wins will put us in the playoffs due to tie breakers in head to head competition

10-6 sounds pretty damn sweet to me. Real optimism is the team getting to that point and consistently doing that and better, repeatedly for years to come, and that my friends is a real possibility with Kubes and Smith.
