ALL Unless they are/were associated with the Houston Texans, Houston Oilers, Houston Gamblers (heck, throw in the old Texas Terror / Thunderbears)

*EDIT*

and I dont mean 'the bad rug'

I really disliked all the Steelers teams back in the LYB days, for reasons of envy moreso than anything else.

I really dislike Bud Adams.

I really disliked the Cowboys that were criminals, even as I grudgingly like Aikman, Emmitt, Novacek, and Bill Bates.

I really dislike Bud Adams.

I was not fond of Glanville.

I really dislike Bud Adams.

I currently dislike TO and CJ, as they epitomize the "me-first" personalities that ruin team sports.

I really dislike Bud Adams.

Did I mention Bud Adams?

Bud Adams
Belicheat
Deangelo Hall
Al Davis
Jack Del Rio
Kellen Winslow
Pacman
Gene Upshaw
Phillip Rivers
Shawne Merriman
Cedric Benson
Matt Millen
Reggie Bush

I obviously have a lot of hate to go around.:wild:

Get on 45 and start drivin' north baby and you'll hit them eventually. Behind THOSE muff-huggas are Bud Adams, Leroy Glover and the Patriots. I actually LIKE Palamalu.

Eli Manning
Peyton Manning
Shawne Merriman
Kellen Winslow
Anything that has to do with the Titans
Anything that has to do with the Jags
Anything that has to do with the Cowgirls
Anything that has to do with the Colts
Jabar Gaffney
Charlie Casserly

There's more, but I can't think of them.

I won't say David Carr, because he's taken no blatent shot at the Texans after he left. He may lack serious QB skills, but no one can say he doesn't have class.

Most of the titans there are a ones who now have retired that you can't help but respect.

The Jags....all of them.

Dan Synder.... keep hoping to buy a SB danny boy.

Art Model and quite a few of the Ravens for what they did to Cleveland. Perhaps the worst colors in all of professional Sports but some of the best and loyal fans I've seen.

That's mine as well although I have to give Glanville a pass because he was so gracious with my son at training camp. You could tell he was busy, but still took the time to have an at least 5 minute conversation with him. Him and Bruce Matthews were by far the most fan friendly.

I'd probably throw Bud Adams name in there a few more times as well.

1. Paul MaGuire, the announcer on NBC during the 90s. He called the Oilers game, and he was a former Bills player. He hated us. Badly. I seriously muted the TV and grabbed the radio play-by-play.

2. Herm Edwards. All talk, no action. He uses emotion to keep his job(s), and it's getting old to me. At some point, you either have it or you don't.

3. Raiders fans. It was cool in the 70s...but they need to tone down their act. Visiting fans are afraid of being beaten up by Raider fan, which is NOT cool.

4. Sean Salisbury. I hope his arrogance is an on-screen persona.

5. The remaining 1972 Dolphins players, and their champagne celebration when the last undefeated team loses each season. For as much as I dislike the Patriots, I must admit that I appreciated the Patriots being so strong all season that we didn't have to see Shula & Co. smirking on the sideline and high-fiving each other. I know they're proud of what they did--That's all good and well. But at some point, to me, you gotta' stop the show and just rest in knowing that what you did doesn't need a yearly celebration. Let it stand on its own. It was special: WE GET IT.

6. The yearly camera shot of Jets fans in agony, screaming their heads off in anger as their first round draft choice is announced. Another annual rite of passage. You know it's football seaosn when Jets fans are berating their team, on camera, on draft day.

7. Rex Grossman & The Bears' front office. Note to both of these people: You can help lower the depression rates in Chicago if you would just go separate ways. It was odd two years ago, it became increasingly weird last season, and now it's bordering on mass hysteria. It's not gonna' work out. Texans fans know what happens to a defense when they see an inept QB leading the offense: They stop hustling and they don't care anymore because it's an exercise in futility for the defense to "stop" other teams' drives...knowing they're gonna' be right back out there, behind the 8-ball (again) in just about 5 minutes.

8. RBBC & FFLs. Nuff said.

9. Cowboys games without Crazy Ray (who died last year). I don't like the Cowboys, but I can say that I was forced to go to a Cowboys Redskins game about 4 years ago...sat in the end zone, and what I saw was the best thing I saw that whole day: The Hogettes (Skins fans dressed up as old ladies) had flown to the game, wandered down to our area of seats, and Crazy Ray saw them and approached them--They had a cordial back-and-forth smack talking conversation, and then they began posing for photos with the crowd. It was like being a kid again, seeing them in person when I had seen them on TV growing up (my dad was a Cowboys fan, so that's what we watched until I got my own TV and started watching Oilers game in my own room!). Seeing that stuff in-person was a treat.

10. Going back to No. 3 on my list: I don't like the way the NFL works, as it pertains to coaching jobs. If you have a buddy, you're always getting jobs in the NFL. No matter what happens, you're always on the gravy train. It's like they are all just looking out for each other, helping each other out when they take turns being the head coach. Proof: Dom Capers is on the Patriots and is being rumored to be the head coach if the NFL sits Bill Belichick down this season. Yikes.

I would probably put Shannon Sharpe, Joe Theismann, Deion Sanders, Stuart Scott, Jason Whitlock on the list, but they are minor problems to me. John Madden needs to retire. The overall status of the gameday announcing/commentary is not as strong as it was in the 80s and 90s.

My favorite thing this past year was seeing all the Dolphins cheering and crying after winning ONE game. Nothing would've been better IMO even if i had to stomach the Patriots winning another title then to see them go perfect and the Dolphins go winless.

John Elway. Hated him when he came out in the draft and really hated him after "The Drive". Water under the bridge right? NOT!!!!!

The '72 Dolphins
Peyton Manning
Reggie Bush

...and especially Vince Young and the rest of his thug group. I hate them more than anything in sports.

YES.

I forgot Peyton.

Him chewing out his team when they fail to convert 4th and 15 with 1:32 left in the game, and up by 21 points, is something that angers me. Especially when the Titans are given a red carpet on the last game, as a way to get into the playoffs via beating the Colts who absolutely rolled over and died for the Titans in that game.

Had that been the Texans, we'd have been given no slack at all.:pirate:

Reggie Bush, and VY to name 2. I also second Herm Edwards. I have never seen a more overrated coach than him. I have no idea how he not only gets jobs, but why people, the CHiefs, gave up anything to get him. The Jets stole those picks from them. Then, comes all 30 of the remaining 31 teams, with only Tampa Bay being worthy of my attention.

I'll go with commish Pete Rozell who held McNair up for ransom on the buy in and then allowed the change in draft picks.

You mean accept by the Jaguars who did not have a starter playing in the final game last season and just handed you your first non losing season ....

The Jags admittedly were spending three weeks, which included the week they played us, in preparation for the Patriots. Who wouldn't?

The Colts, on the other hand, were able to alter the course of the playoffs by letting the Titans win. They played God.

I fail to see how anyone could hate the Jags for keeping people healthy and for focusing on taking down the Patriots.

Oh, you're a Titans fan. That's why. Oopsey. :thisbig:

What is it you want us to "accept?"

Do I need to go down the list of players that were injured and out for the Texans in that last game against the Jaguars?

Starting QB Matt Schaub
Starting RB Ahman Green
Starting C Steve McKinney
Starting OG Fred Weary
Starting DE Anthony Weaver
Starting S Glenn Earl
Starting CB Dunta Robinson
Starting KR Jerome Mathis - which turned out to be a good thing.

No you don't need to go down the list with Sparrow. He has always rejected reality.

PS. I didn't see Jason Simmons, Roc Alexander, Jon Abbate or Chris Taylor

Bro I didn't read your first sentence.
I just logged into the "Who do you hate in the NFL" thread...saw your list of names and thought to myself, "Chris is trying to commit neg rep suicide with THAT list! What was he thinking?"

Apart from Mathis...

That plonker can stay on the list for being such a waste of talent.

Tennessee Titans top my list.

Dallas Cowboys are a distant second.

I never thought I could dislike any team more than I dislike the Cowboys. But leave it to Rug Adams to flip this city off while we still held the bills to a renovated Astrodome. And then, to add insult to injury, he can't even honor the Oilers name by keeping it (either in H-town or with his franchise). He thinks the records 'honor' history, but the greatest player he ever had said he was never a Titan, and he never played in Tennessee.

Adams better leave it in his will to be buried in a private cemetary, or Houston football fans will make his grave a tourist destination just to piss on it. There's some hatred for ya'.

And yeah, I'd drink a gallon of Hatorade just to pee "you suck" on his grave. :howdy:

You know you shouldn't even play that card since the Colts played Sorgi in the second half basically giving the Tight'uns a free pass to the playoffs.

Also despised: Trolls from other teams.

Back in the day it was Pittsburgh and Oakland, and I can still whip up some good 'ol hatred for them.

I've thrown plenty of hate towards the 49ers, but right now the power hate is focused on Possum Holler and the Indred Children of Uranus. And as long as they're a division rival, I could see them maybe surpassing the Lakers as my most hated team in all of sports. And man, I HATE the Lakers with a passion.

There's only one player whom I hate.

Rodney "Freakin" Harrison.

I would "disrespect" this man if I saw him on the street I do not care how big or strong he is.

I was not playing a card I was just showing you a mirror when you say the Titans got handed a game. If so then the Jags handed you a game. Right? I mean no MJD of Fragile Freddie? I bet it was the outstanding WR play?

:highfive:

Oh you can admit you enjoy my presence from time to time ....

Steal-whores, Faiders, and the Bungles for some odd reason.

I hate when Fisher plays Cowher and they announcers bring up the story about Cowher breaking Fishers leg. Give it a rest already!

Faider fans ... Jaguar fans are right up there though ....

Yet again you fail to look at the whole picture when pulling comments out your ass. We had as many if not more backups in the game than did the jags but I am sure you will yet again fail to notice that fact because it does not support your delusion.

Schaub played in 11 total games. While he was your starter you would not have been 8-8 with out Roseenhausenafhaytbaker ...

Green's 6 games and everyone accept homer Texan fans knew he would go down before the last game of the season. Plus with Green out and the Jags using some of the tarps they call a D ... Dayne was able to throw up 88 yards. One of his best games of the season I might add.

Earl ... ? I bet analysts had you behind the 8 ball with that loss. :sarcasm:

If you take your players that were out that game due to injury and only include players who sat just to sit the numbers heavily out weigh the Jaguars.

I could easily say we did not have Pacman, Hope, Mawea, Olson, Fowler ... should I continue ... ?

Like I said if the Titans were handed a game so were the Texans. Fess up to it, either the Titans were legit and the Texans having a non-losing season was legit or both got handed a game. Either way we still finished +2 to the Texans in wins ....

I do not pay attention to this sights 'Gunny' ... I read what you said but instead I was fed with the truth .....

I can only say the delay was do to your stay on hiring a new RB ....

:)

Draft pick fingers crossed!

I think what DiehardChis was saying is please "accept" the invitation to click this link http://www.merriam-webster.com/ to look up the words accept and except. :shades:

Despise, no, but a few that I'm not too fond are DeAngelo Hall, Michael Strahan, Bill Belichick, and from the past, Joe Theismann.

Jeff Fisher
Vince Young
Pacman Jones
Terrell Owens
Donovan McNabb
Daunte Culpepper
Albert Haynesworth
Brady Quinn--the guy has done NOTHING, but wants worship...

All the posters here who dog my favorite Texan, Travis Johnson...:penalty:

:jk:... I appreciate all the posters here...even the misguided ones...you know who your are..:D

I do have a difficult time liking the thugs who show up in the NFL.

I feel that most of it starts in the football factories of higher education? who cater to these athletes. Don't tell.., don't ask..:winky:.

Not really answering the original question is it?
