The NFL Draft order isn't set, and most of the underclassmen have yet to decide if they'll make themselves eligible for selection in April.

However, it is never too early to take a look at how the draft might shake out if it were held tomorrow.

Rivals.com asked its NFL Draft partner – Frank Coyle of draftinsiders.com – to put together a two-round mock draft with comments on each pick. Enjoy. (* - Underclassman)

1. Miami (0-13)
The Pick: Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU
The Buzz: The Dolphins are a wreck, and the team obviously has holes everywhere. Dorsey is a dominant inside force.
2. New England (from San Francisco (3-10))
The Pick: Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas*
The Buzz: Patriots strike it rich and get the premier feature back and best player in this class.
3. St. Louis (3-10)
The Pick: Chris Long, DE, Virginia
The Buzz: The Rams defense must improve along the front four.
4. NY Jets (3-10)
The Pick: James Laurinaitis, LB, Ohio State*
The Buzz: The Jets are looking for another impact defender for their front seven.
5. Atlanta (3-9)
The Pick: Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville
The Buzz: The Falcons are a total disaster this season and the quarterback spot is their highest priority.
6. Oakland (4-9)
The Pick: Jake Long, OT, Michigan
The Buzz: The Raiders are in the top 10 again and must protect franchise QB JaMarcus Russell.
7. Kansas City (4-9)
The Pick: Michael Oher, OT, Ole Miss*
The Buzz: The Chiefs' line must improve for this offense to return to the upper echelon in the league.
8. Baltimore (4-9)
The Pick: Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona
The Buzz: The Ravens defense needs younger talent on the corner, and Cason is a top-flight cover man.
9. Cincinnati (5-8)
The Pick: Steve Slaton, RB, West Virginia*
The Buzz: The Bengals are looking for an impact playmaker out of the backfield for this offense.
10. Carolina (5-8)
The Pick: Dan Connor, LB, Penn State
The Buzz: The Panthers are looking to solidify their struggling defense.
11. Chicago (5-8)
The Pick: Matt Ryan, QB, Boston College
The Buzz: The Bears will jump at a chance for a future leader on offense.
12. Philadelphia (5-8)
The Pick: Malcolm Kelly, WR, Oklahoma
The Buzz: The Eagles are looking to stretch the field with a blue-chip receiver.
13. Arizona (6-7)
The Pick: Sedrick Ellis, DT, Southern Cal
The Buzz: The Cardinals defense gives up too many big plays and needs a leader and anchor in the middle.
14. Houston (6-7)
The Pick: Kenny Phillips, FS, Miami*
The Buzz: The Texans are looking to continue to build a playoff-caliber defense, especially in the secondary.
15. Denver (6-7)
The Pick: Early Doucet, WR, LSU
The Buzz: Mike Shanahan wants more playmakers to help Jay Cutler develop.
16. Washington (6-7)
The Pick: Calais Campbell, DE, Miami
The Buzz: Joe Gibbs wants a big-time pass rusher for the Redskins' front four.
17. Detroit (6-7)
The Pick: Andre' Woodson, QB, Kentucky
The Buzz: The Lions are in search of a future leader on offense and may take a chance on Woodson.

The Buzz: Gholston could certainly help the Titans improve their pass rush.

The Pick: DeSean Jackson, WR, California *
The Buzz: The Cowboys are looking to add a young playmaker on the outside.
23. San Diego (8-5)
The Pick: Keith Rivers, LB, USC
The Buzz: The Chargers' front seven would benefit from another strong defender.
24. Tampa Bay (8-5)
The Pick: Mario Manningham, WR, Michigan*
The Buzz: The Bucs are lacking playmakers in the passing game.
25. Seattle (9-4)
The Pick: Gosder Cherilus, OT, Boston College
The Buzz: The Seahawks hope to address their offensive line early in the draft.
26. NY Giants (9-4)
The Pick: Brandon Flowers, CB, Virginia Tech*
The Buzz: The Giants have major problems in the secondary that need to be addressed.
27. Jacksonville (9-4)
The Pick: Derrick Harvey, DE, Florida*
The Buzz: The Jaguars love those Gators defenders, and Harvey is a good one.
28. Pittsburgh (9-4)
The Pick: Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU*
The Buzz: The Steelers are looking to fortify their front three, and Jackson has the potential fill a role.
29. Green Bay (11-2)
The Pick: Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Illinois*
The Buzz: The Packers want a well-developed feature back to balance this offense.
30. San Francisco (from Indianapolis (11-2))
The Pick: James Hardy, WR, Indiana*
The Buzz: The 49ers offense needs another playmaker to open up the passing game.
31. Dallas (12-1)
The Pick: Aqib Talib, CB, Kansas*
The Buzz: The Cowboys defense needs a top-flight cover man opposite Terence Newman.

I wouldn't be upset with Kenny Phillips at all esp. at 14. However I think it would serve us well to take Ryan Clady instead. Surprise they had him at 19? and Oher at 7. Hope both these guys declare and make a rich OL class for the 1st round.

Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio State*
Ryan Clady, OT, Boise State*
Reggie Smith, CB, Oklahoma*
Vernon Gholston, DE, Ohio State*
Keith Rivers, LB, USC
Gosder Cherilus, OT, Boston College
 
Need a FS or OT. Personally I think the offensive line (once again) should be our top priority. We can't depend on Charles Spencer to recover completely. If he does, then more power to us!

I wouldn't be upset with a CB. When Dunta comes back off the PUP next year, we can move one of them to FS.

I wouldn't mind having Dunta at FS and having two young corners. If he can recover 100% and not lose a step, then all the better.
 
For the ga-billionth time, Dunta is a CB, he will alsways be a CB; and any notion of moving him to FS is just wrong.

How many times are we going to go through this, Dunta is not a FS.

When did you start making personnel decision for the Texans?

Rod Woodson was knockout top 2 CB in the league for many years; injury and age forced him to S where he led a number of very productive defenses. If the options facing DUNTA are playing Safety or unemployment I'm sure I know what he'll pick.

I agree with PapaL on this one. If Dunta loses a step due to injury, he will be considered at FS. It's not that uncommon.

I think with our vastly improving front 7 seven plus the improved play of Bennett and probably a mid-level FA CB we should be ok. I don't think there would be a CB of value player where we pick in the first. Of course the junior coming out, Senior Bowl and combine is going to have a big effect on it all though.

Yep... the FA is the big wildcard in all of this. What good CBs are going to be on the market this offseason?

What about DeAngelo?
 
I honestly think thie Bennett guy is a keeper. Young, althetic, a little raw - reminds of a slightly less polished Dunta.

Any Gamecock CB's coming out this year? 1.5 out of 2 ain't bad.

At 180 pounds, Dunta's career would end much quicker if he moves to FS. Heck, some of us are already worried about his career at CB, with the manner he throws his body around. At FS he would be expected to take on 6'5" 250 lb TEs, instead of the 6' 195 lbs WRs he sees at CB.

For some reason this topic comes up year around draft time, and on other occasions as well; and the usual conclusion is that Dunta is not suited to play FS.

Somebody brought up Woodson as an example a CB who became a FS; yes it worked that time but Woodson was a little bigger then Dunta. The skill set reguired to play CB are significantly different from those needed to play FS.

No thanks.

DeAngelo is really really fast.

And that is about the extent of his skill.

He gets beat about 70% of the time & only his speed allows him to occasionally recover.
 
Dunta Robinson is not going to be a Free Safety. Period. The end. we have this debate every year and it's not going to happen.

And we shouldn't trade to get Deangelo Hall either... I've heard that question before and that would be a bad trade. Free Agent? I don't know about that...but no way should we trade for him.

The Buzz: The Bills may draft into the deep offensive tackle class this spring.

There's our guy. So are these guys posting that the Bills our giving up on Peters ? Or are they saying the Bills are drafting the back up swing man with their first round pick ? Inquiring minds would like to know ? I mean if Levy likes the guy or is going to upgrade Peters it's a great pick. Can't have too many athletic guys who can play OLT on the roster...hey wait.... we only have one.

Agreed; Noticed also that the All American RB and the off brand Jenkins is still on thier board....Told you the '08 2 would hurt the worse in the MS deal. This one is gonna sting a little.

But that probably would have meant drafting Quinn at 10, or signing a much lower caliber QB. Neither option is all that atractive, and would have doen nothing to help this team grow.

I don't think we should count Sage's impressive streak of late against the Schaub descision, cause I doubt anybody say it coming.

Brohm should still be the first QB off the board, and I still think he goes to Atlanta. Oher is a OG. Cason is the #3 or #4 CB, but still a very good CB. This draft is very deep at the top. Slaton is not one of the top 5 RB's IMO. Gholston in Tennessee is not fair. Their ability to create pressure on the QB is why they are in so many games; it is not Vince, it is that defense, led by their pass rush. I'm warming up to Gholston as a possibility for us and as our sackmaster RDE.

Ryan is the most polished for the pro game right now, reminds me of & influenced byTom Brady.

Woodson has great measureables, strong arm, pocket presence, athletic ability & accuracy. I think of him having a higher ceiling than Washington Redskin Jason Campbell.

Brohm lacks durablity, can he take the physical natural of the game? reminds me of Kyle Boller.

This is too deep of RB class for Slayton to be the #1 prospect.

Gholston is a top 10 pick, as a matter of fact the newest Mock I'm working on has him becoming a Jet, if the Patriots don't trade down & gobble him up. But I do agree just the mere thought of him being a Titan is about the sickest thing imagineable, & no way can the Texans possibly not address the O-Line with the 1st pick or pass on a talent like him :bowser:
 
I'm not very impressed by Slaton. He seems to have too many games where he does absolutely nothing and doesn't seem to be a consistent runner. He may have 12 carries for 80 yards, but 1 carry will be for 50.
 
Didn't see Sam Baker from USC in that mock. How do you draftniks think that he stacks up against the other OT's that are in that mock's 1st round?

Good to see so many OT's in that first round.

I can see the Brady comparision with Ryan, but I liken him to Brees as well. Ryan is pretty much ready to go, but his upside is limited. Woodson has the most upside, but Brohm has a big time arm, is a proven product, and has name recognition.

I refuse to think Gholston is a top 10 pick at this point. I don't buy it right now.

well Hoth boy hindsight and all of that...you got a third of the board already that wants to throw Matt under the bus. Now I don't get that...what ever. I'm with you on Sage. I think he's a fine back up. I hope he does get a shot one day. But I'm telling you he's never going to beat out MS out of camp. I think they were enamored with the up side of Okoye . The only player they would have passed him up for in my book is if All Day would have fallen to them. I don't know what they would of done if Levi Brown and Okoye would of both been sitting there. I know what I would of done though.

Either way the reality is that they were sold on MS. Warts an all. But the point was the DC failure cost us two very fine high caliber players. The only way close to getting that back is to do a move down deal.
