TFY:
it would appear that Lynch's stock is rising and rising. and with the talks of green bay possibly making a move up into the top 10 to secure a look at lynch, and various scouting resources now playing Lynch high on their prospect rankings, it's looking right now that it's not far out of the question to look at Marshawn Lynch as a possibility for the Houston Texans at #8. Peterson will most likely be long gone. The other news swirling around the workout is a potential trade early in round one to acquire Lynch.
Coming off his splendid performance at Cal's pro-day, coupled with the recent trade of Willis McGahee, the Buffalo Bills are now targeting Lynch with the 12th pick of the draft and have their hearts set on the Cal running back.
Yet the thinking is he may not last that long.
We can confirm that the Green Bay Packers, who hold the 16th pick, have put out feelers about the potential costs of trading into the top ten. If they can pull it off the Packers would use that selection to draft Lynch.
While many in the media give the impression that draft day trades happen exactly at that time, on draft day, the reality of the matter is much different. Most of the deals which go down in round one have been talked about weeks in advance and are only consummated on draft weekend.
That's exactly the process Green Bay is taking part in now.
