Speculation: Smoot for Carr?

well, anyone up there can stream 610 and hear the lack of Smoot for Carr talk all they like...it's pure fabrication.
 
why would the vikes do this? they have their qb of the future. this makes no sense no matter how much i'd like to have smoot.

I agree. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Tavaris Jackson is 10X better than Carr.
 
I somehow get the feeling the market was'nt as big as we were led to believe .

I guess it could be a bunch of teams looking for a deal but not willing to pay a first day pick .
 
I'm sorry but I'd rather wait until Dre Bly is released from Detroit than to get Smoot in a trade. Heck, I'd even rather trade for Bly. He has been more productive the last few years than Smoot has since he left Washington.

I don't know if there was much of a market in the first place. I think Rick Smith has been trying to create a market with the quotes he's said recently. Not sure if it's worked.
 
there is a reason there is smoke around the Vikes wanting to get rid of Smoot--maybe he is just not that good anymore. i'd rather take a 3rd round pick for Carr (if that is what they decide to do) with no baggage (legal woes, elephant of a contract) that you can mold instead of smoot.

1st round for Carr? omfg you must be joking.

Carr will be lucky to net us a late 4th round pick. His contract, history, and displayed ability all make him a non-commodity.

If Carr is our Quarterback this year, look forward to yet another year of uninspired losing football. McNair needs to sell the team to someone who cares more about winning than image, money, and choirboy man-crushes.

Carr sucks and until they get rid of him, the Texans will continue to suck.

i still cant believe there are losers that still think Carr is even an average QB much less a franchise QB......clueless yokels
