Game 7 Thread: Texans @ Titans

This is the game that should turn the franchise around. It's time for DC to ride the pine this year and move on next year. I say we play Rosenfels the rest of the year and look to draft a QB or sign one in free agency -

If Rosenfels is good enough to unseat Carr and lead this team for the rest of the year then why would you want to replace him after the season?

And why is Rosenfels not good enough to be out starting QB next year?

#8, #80 and a couple others ALONG WITH KUBIAK need to sit down and reflect on today.

Andre screwed us on the last play. Time for him to ride the pine, pro-bowler my butt.

if that was the case charlie batch would still lead pittsburgh LOL

I trust kubiak will make the right decision.. sage or Carr whatever goes..

my problem is that if Carr would have played like sage in the 4th.. everyone would holler "garbage stats" but being sage did it.. it is like he is the next coming.

if he is the next coming that cool

also I recall lots on this board hated the move to get sage in the offseason.. hope the bandwagon has enough room

Damn. Well, I think WE have a QB controversy in Houston. To think it was in Dallas last week and it trickled down south to Houston.

Media will go on and on about VY, wahen he barely contributed to their win... i give this game ball to the Tenn D and Special Teams.

It's comical to imagine people are even giving thought that VY had a good game.

Seven completions, yes seven completions. No arguments here that in the end the Titans won the game, but good grief, seven completions....

Are you kidding? I think Rosenfels is much better than Carr but I'm not sure he's a Super Bowl QB. So while I think we're more competitive with Sage, I still think we need an upgrade to get to where we want to be. But the first step of our program is to admit to ourselves that Carr isn't the guy, and to quit wasting time with him. If we are going to lose games we might as well be developing players in the meantime.

Well he got screwed on one call, and had another nice 10+ yard completion called back by a penalty. He also had a nice 20 yard TD run. Most importantly, however, he didn't beat his own team. Great pocket presense and he generally made good decisions. Go look at Roethlisberger's stats the past couple of years, not so great either.

I am just going to blow off this game. It was real ugly. If David hadn't fell and let that one guy run in for a touchdown at halftime, it would have been great. Oh well. Thanks Carr.

amen.

so i guess a mistake here and there by AJ negates all he has done for this team that is positive? i think you're just emotional right now, think rationally filo.

Ah, yes. But even more comical to deny his effect on that team. Before he was the starter this team had the look of the Radiers. He may not be an accomplished QB at the NFL level just yet but he is making a difference. His learning curve isn't as steep as many of his detractors may think. But i'll temper my rationale just a tad though as he was just playing against our D.

boy can we spin stuff.. too bad you don't give Carr breaks when balls get tipped and int or linemen don't block..

really love the unbiased analysis... :ok:

Texans had the look of the Raiders after 2 blowouts to start the season

we had no chance the last play anyway...
Weak, that is just weak.

As long as that clock is live and the ball is in play....IT COUNTS.
No excuses, I hope AJ takes more accountability for his play than some of y'all on here are for him. Geez, admit he had a BAD DAY, it won't kill you!

Why are people so threatened by VY when all he did was win the game. That is the difference between football fans and "player" fans. I'll take Ws over stats and people thought Carr was doing so well...too bad it didn't help the team. Some guys just make a difference. There is no spin to it. For a rookie making his 4th start he looked as good as our QB. What does that say?

I really hated that play at the beggining, when Carr tried to throw but then yet got intercepted, and he ran like a hell of a long way.

It shouldn't be too hard to figure out..... we were coming back from behind, lost the game by 6. it is not garbage stats, unless the time & the point differential suggests we can't win.

If we score 3 touchdowns in the final qtr, and still lose the game by 2 TDs, it was garbage time, because we had no chance of winning the game.

Holy crap I'm agreeing with TK.
