Wow. I've never been so embarassed in my life.

Just wanted to congratulate you all for a great victory. You guys dominated every aspect of the game. Our whole team played like *******. No bright spot, except Fred Taylor in the third QTR (but then again...the fumble...). It was apparent that Byron was bothered by his ankle. He had one of his worst days as a pro.

You guys are definitely on your way up. I'd say we're still in the playoff hunt, but we need some serious practicing to do.

PS: I'll be changing my sig momentarily.

We had some excuses coming in to the game, but nothing that would account for the azs kicking we got today. Congrats. Your rook DE made some plays, and Kubiac made some great calls. Heck, both sides of the ball played well for you today.

I'm headed to the beach with my Jag jersey on so everyone knows I'm a fan this afternoon, but the team should be a bit embarassed to have played that way.

Keep it up next week and good luck. We'll be better prepared for you in a few weeks I'm sure.

got to give you credit, you showed up after losing. not sure if we are for real yet or just playing well against jville like we always do. anyways, how about that running game today!!

I can't believe Jack The River actually played Byron Sandwich.

Sorry if this considered "piling on," but that was a poor decision.

He did look very uncomfortable. He needed to be on the bench. Weird stuff.

game went just the way I thought.............Carr throwing to open the run game was smart................and the Jags season is over................no way they make the playoffs in the AFC...............I cant wait to play the Texans next week.

So, does that make the Titans' season over?

Woohoo...thanks for the congrats...didn't see the game due to work. But the score I called in my avatar was pretty close...24-10...I was off 3 pts on both sides. I am looking forward to watching it on TIVO.

Now I can take this bloody cowpoke avatar off too ;).

A great way to start the week, waking up over here in Australia to see that the Texans have won and run the ball well....Good stuff and well done.

everything is relative...............you thought this season you'd over take the Clots...............well they clinched today with your loss and now the Jags season could be over..................the injuries, as I predicted in preseason would kill you because youre depth is not hot...............and your LB and DE play proved it today.

Actually, I think it was our offense that really let us down today :brickwall , not the beat up defense. Houston forced two fumbles on two consecutive downs that really turned the game on its ear. That, and Byron had another poor outing. That's two this year already and its getting hard to continue supporting him. Unfortunately I don't think there's anyone better to play (though I expect the Jag message board will be full of panicked suggestions).

Also, major props to Andre's catch in the end zone to take control in the first half. No way he should come down with that, but he manhandled two usually tough defenders. I couldn't tell from the replays if Darius somewhat hindered the CB from knocking the ball away. Watching Andre outmuscle defenders on some other catches makes me simply give him the benefit of the doubt for a spectular play.

That wasn't my question.

Worse than 30-0 at home?

I wouldn't worry, keep your head up its going to be OK.

Jags fans have so much class.

Sweeping them this year won't be as satisfying as I thought it would....

ah well, a sweep's a sweep.

I expected him to get pulled early. He looked like he was playing hurt.

Being a Jags fan has got to be frustating as can be.

I mean, I don't think I have ever seen a team so Jeckel and Hyde before in my life. One week, they beat the Cowboys and Jets, and give the Colts all they want, and then they come here to Houston and we blow them out. Just a mystery.

BTW, for you Jags fans, Garrad should be playing ahead of Leftwich. That guy has never impressed me at all. JMO.

Over here they are nice, but not all of them are at their house. But I have addressed those who aren't at their board, as it should be (and I wiped my feet before coming home). :redtowel:

I wouldn't take Fldvldog on this year because of my experience last year (his this year). I wished harder than I believed in a win.
Good game, we will see y'all again on the 12th!

What can I say, I feel like I've been kicked in the teeth. Your team just flat whupped us. No Excuses, No comebacks. I can only hope we do better on the twelfth.

I've checked on another forum I'm on...the Jags fans are embarassed and mad. I paraphrase one as saying "until we get rid of Jack, we'll continue to underrate the Texans. They play us like its the Super Bowl."

Well allow me, a Texans fan, to make some excuses for you. We seem to do that whenever we lose, fair is fair when we win.

I've never never seen Leftwich miss his targets like he did today. Never. And when he did find them, the receivers dropped a lot of them. Two costly turnovers didn't help. Lot's of silly penalties on both sides of the line. In short, the Jags never came ready to play.

Why do the Jags play flat whenever they play the Texans? Are they always 'looking ahead'? We are not a better football team than them.

Now, having said that, I'm not taking away the performance put on by the Texans. It's so much easier for the offense when the running game is going.

Wow. I gotta' give it to you texan fans. I thought I was going to get ragged to death after this game (like we did during the '04 season...which fueled my fire to rag on you all during the Jags' sweep last season). Classy way to take a victory.

Go figure it's the tack fan that's running his mouth. And to that fan...your time will come. And I guarentee that we will be playing better football.

I offer no excuses what so ever.

Your team came to play and it showed. I honestly don't know who that group of guys were that showed up in Jaguar uniforms yesterday.

Your defense was dominating, and the offense looked pretty darn good. Congratualtions on the win, and I look forward to the re-match November 12th.

About the only good thing that I can say about this game is it looks like there were no injuries.

Good luck this coming Sunday and beat the Titans!

For the record, don't use "looking past us" or "no respect" as motivation anymore. I really don't think its possible for the Jags to look past any team in the division. The titans kicked us in the teeth in the late 90's, the colts have done it the past few years, and you texans have repeatedly been spoilers for us since you came into existence. All four teams are developing some good rivalries.

Now if we all could just figure out a way to take down the Colts. That would be sweet :)

I expressed my congrats in another thread (didn't see this one).

As for the game, 2 things immediatly come to mind.

1. Texans aren't as bad as people seem to think. Your team looked really good yesterday.

2. Jaguars just plain stunk up the place. No excuses. Sure there were injuries, missing players, etc., but a team is made up of 53 players. If one goes down to injury, there better be another to step up and take his place.

I am still both shocked, and embarassed at the sorry play by our team yesterday. Your team deserved the win, and congratualtions.

Now just kick some Titan butt next Sunday! (I have a bet that you all sweep them this year).

Thanks, it does look like they are getting more acclimated to the system. We will definately have some bumps in the road, but yesterday gives me renewed hope in a nice season. We have a winnable game next weekend against Tenn., I just hope we play as physical as we did yesterday. The Jags definately bring out the best in us.

Offense? Shoot, you need to get rid of Leftnut. He stinks. Has no right even playing in the NFL. Far from being a leader thats for sure. It really surprises me that your ***** posters on your MB once tried comparing him to Peyton Manning. Ha! thats a laugh.
Want another laugh? Heres one. Yesterday, Sexton said, "I can't see how this team beat up on Dallas and Pittsburgh and then fall flat". (Funny Part).......I could see, firstly, there was a reason New England got rid of Bledsoe. He sucks like Leftnut. He destroyed any and all chances of Dallas beating you guys. Secondly, when you played the Steelers. You played the 2006 Steelers. Not the 2005 Steelers. Worthlessburger was only 30% after his operation and you all lucked out again playing a team with a hapless QB.
Then the funniest part was when you all came up to Indy with a big chip on yur shoulders thinking you were going to be the new bullies on the block and wound up getting your block knocked off by a team with (Your Excuse) a Defense missing 5 starters due to injuries. Sure, we gave up the running yardage but in the end, Leftnut was just sitting on the ground crying....AGAIN! Ha,ha,ha,ha, Here's to the Jack-N-Jille Hags and your stupid MB and lets not forget VIC. VIC THE )ICK

i think that most texan fans will agree that this game was the most complete game the texans have played in a long time. the jags are a solid team and will beat some good teams this year.

Just wanted to congratulate you all for a great victory.

Texans did play a good game Sunday. I'm just glad I saw no cheap shots by either team. Maybe they are settling down.

Enjoy it while you can colts-td. You've got this year and maybe next year at the most to act like a classy winner, then you'll be seeing us on the way back down the ladder.

The Jags have been nipping at your heels, and now the texans and titans are starting the climb up. You're the only team in the division whose best years are behind them. Tick, tick, tick, tick....
