Vote Andre in Pro Bowl!!

Don't forget about Demeco while you're there. I noticed that he has 3 less tackles and .5 more sacks than Ray Lewis. Talk about a good rookie season so far. Everyone knows how well he's doing but that kind of put it a little more in perspective for me.

Got to vote for Carr, the guy is doing this with NO run game, like I mean ZERO run game! You know how hard that is to know that the DBs know you have to throw the ball. If you told Carr his RB was going to have 50 yards rushing from one tailback he would due flips!

Carr,AJ and Ryans I voted for.:redtowel:

I've got to wait & see more from both..........sorry guys.

Check out this on Ryans(the original has hyperlinks):

link

This week, SI.com named Ryans as #4 on their NFL Rookies Watch List. (The highest ranked defensive rookie on the list). At this point in the season, he is the 5th ranked linebacker in the NFL in overall tackles with 39 and is tied for second in solo tackles. He also has 1.5 sacks (and if you've watched the games, he has been close to having more).

If you look at all the linebackers in the entire league that are on the top of the tackles list, most of them have played 6 games. DeMeco has played 5.

It would be hard for him to be playing any better, rookie or not.

Also if you look at this link (especially given how the running game and line has struggled), I don't think it is out of line to vote for Andre. (and the link also means a WTG to Eric Moulds).

Look on this list. What AFC receiver would you vote for instead?

Homer or not, those are some good stats given our teams' struggles. (especially when you compare totally passing yards of their respective QBs).

Send the guys some votes.

Andre is good, but he needs to show more. You are only as good as your last game, and although he had 9 catches for 75yds, he dropped some passes. BUT, Rain will cause that sometimes. I will vote for 80!!!

yeah, demeco is top 5 in tackles while AJ is first in catches and 2nd in yards per game, 5th in receiving yards and everyone infront of them has played 6 games, not 5.

Voted for Demeco and Andre. Hopefully someone from the Texans makes the pro bowl. It is a shame when your kick returner makes the pro bowl. It just shows how often Houston is being kicked off to.

Voted!

If DeMeco can hold on to a few ints , he can shoot up the LB charts...
A.J just needs to hold on to tha dang ball..I think he can lead the league in rec by the end of the yr.

well read again...

Pro Bowl
Currently, players are voted into the Pro Bowl by the coaches, the players themselves, and the fans. Each group's ballots count for one third of the votes. The fans vote online at the NFL's official site, nfl.com. There are also replacements that go to the game should any selected player be unable to play due to injuries. Prior to 1995, only the coaches and the players made Pro Bowl selections.

He dropped 3 passes so far. Horrible, i know.
Seriously, every WR drops passes. Look at Steve Smith, Fitzgerald, Chad Johnson, Randy Moss, Boldin, Reggie Wayne or Marvin Harrison...and the list goes on and on.

Carr, Ryans, and AJ should get all the votes we can muster. Personally, I've voted on it about 6 times now and I include DRob and Pitts each time as well.

Carr is completing 70% of his passes, 1st in the NFL.

5th in the NFL in QB rating with 97.9

Manning and Rivers are the only AFC QBs in front of him.

Manning Rivers and Carr AFC Pro Bowl QBs (Carr just needs more wins)

The lone Texan ranked in the top 5 fan voting for the Pro Bowl is Andre Johnson, who is fourth among AFC wideouts behind the Colts' Marvin Harrison, Cincinnati's Chad Johnson and Indy's Reggie Wayne. Voting ends tomorrow.

According to Solomon's current blog, AJ is the only Texan among the top for fan voting for any position, and he's still short of making the team. Not sure where he gets this info ?
I dunno, but don't the players and coachs also get a vote ?

^Yeah I think so.
I think AJ will get in. He's leading the NFL in Receptions and has over a 1000 yards. Who else in the AFC at WR deserves to get in?

To be honest, the only Texan who deserves it is Ryans. Dre drops too many passes that stud WR should catch.

Every WR drops catches. AJ is our best player on offense, and in the games the Texans have won he mad the big plays (except in the Raider's game). He also has the stats to get him in the pro bowl.

I agree, that is the last thing Dre needs is to go to another Pro Bowl after a season were he did not come up big and dropped too many balls, what would that show him...............

Iam sure he will go and good job if he does but Demeco Ryans desirves to go this year, the kid can flat play.

AJ has more receptions than any other player in the league. Closest is Stephen Jackson a RB with 82. Clostest WR is Chad Johnson with 77 compared to 92 for AJ.

He's also 4th in the AFC in reception yards. He only has 55 less receiving yards than Harrison, who's 3rd and only 1 less TD.

And look who's throwing the ball to the league leaders....Manning and Palmer. Carr has thrown I think 1 td in the last 6-8 games if I'm correct.
