The Associated Press reports Indianapolis Colts PK Adam Vinatieri (groin) could not kick the team's last extra point Week 2 due to a groin injury. P Hunter Smith attempted the extra point and missed it.

They can kiss my Texans backside, it's 2002 all over again. We will not be given respect, so we have to take it and believe me WE WILL!!!:redtowel:

I hate to tell you this, but you're 0-2 following a 2-14 season. They aren't just going to hand you respect.

Respect didn't need to enter this discussion, just poor research and/or watching the game. From the play by play: H.Smith extra point is Blocked (S.Payne), Center-J.Snow, Holder-J.Sorgi.
 
Respect wont go to a franchise who has yet to even sniff a .500 season (and that is not smack). And, everybody here (minus the blind homers) knows that the Texans will not earn that respect this season.

Honestly, I expected the Texans to take out the Eagles during week 1...but...eh...we know how that went. One thing I can say is that I have been wrong about David Carr. He is playing stellar football right now.

We were the worst team in the leauge last year and haven't looked any better this season. Why would we get respect? And even if we were a decent team last season I hardly thing making a mistake on whether the guy missed the extra point or it was blocked is a lack of respect. It's the punter going in for the kicker for gosh sakes. This isn't Peyton Manning we're talking about!

Watching is one thing, understanding is quite another.

For all I care, the majority of sports commentators could and should be replaced with chickens, they watch stuff real close too, but whether or not they understand what they see.. .that's a different matter :)

I agree. And, in some cases ex-players don't do too well either.
