CJ has already accomplished so much and he could easily have let it go to his head some but he appears to be the same humble, genuine and focused guy that he has always been.

I saw where he played on Snoop's little league team and he said CJ is pretty much the same guy now that he was as a kid. Level headed, humble, focused and driven.

Im glad i didnt get my way in the draft and things turned out how they did.

What about the whole Ohio St qb failures even though there has only been 3 draft in the 1st rd in like 60 years? lol

So far, I am super impressed with the way our team has risen like a Phoenix from the dumpster fire is has been for a couple of seasons.
It has been a lot of fun watching the haters eat their words to this point.
I don't think any of them dare to put shade on us if we lose to the Ravens in a close game.

Yep, Ryans/Caserio added the 4-5 pieces they needed to build a top 15 defense and Stingley has been healthy the 2nd half of the season. Ryans had some pieces already in place. (Collins/Greenard/Cashman/Harris/Stingley/Nelson/Petrie.)

Stroud's been historically great and has this team believing they can beat anybody and a team that plays with this type of confidence is hard to beat. They also made added some important weapons on offense. Drafting Dell, Patterson, Scruggs was huge. Adding the most dynamic WR in the draft and building the trenches gives Stroud tools he needs to be successful. Trading for Mason and signing Singletary/Brown was a cherry on top.

In short a great offseason for Ryans/Caserio. Getting Stroud made everything come together and moved the rebuild up by at least a yr or two.

It's a two edged sword - DR was a FIND! And DR hit a home run with Slowik - almost a perfect storm and the thing that is really exciting, is watching them all gel!
Caserio is gonna be really busy this off season figuring out who he wants to keep and who he wants to let go and who to bring in as replacements. Personally, I hope he keeps most of this team and tries to refill the roster from the draft.

Schultz is a must keep if the money isn't prohibitive. Ditto Cashman and Nelson, depending on the yrs for Nelson. I wouldn't sign him for more than 2 yrs with an option for a 3rd yr. I would look at bringing back Rankins, but if I could get a guy like Wilkins I would let Rankins walk. Barnett is also a must sign for me. That dude can play, Ryans/Caserio were so lucky he became available and fell to the them on the WW. The Texans never have this kind of luck.

Khalil Davis was a nice late addition also and is playing his heart out to retain his spot in the team and the NFL.
Agree with all you mentioned.
