I can see it if they traded back from 12, but that’s the only scenario where I see him come here.Heck of a player but don’t see them going that route at 12. Wont be around at 33.
With that name, he's got to be our C. Just work with the equipment manager to change that "h" to a "k" and it's all good. Just make sure he can carry a tune like Carl.I wonder if they’ll be putting him through drills at center?
JMS will be gone by 40, IOL is not strong this draft so some of these guys will go earlier than maybe should. JMS, Avila, Wypler are who I think they would target with the other two maybe being there top of third if lucky. I did hear an option, if they like the guards better, they could kick Kenyon to center and draft a guard instead. Cody Mauch seems to be a BOB dream, can play most anywhere on the line, so in the NFL, likely inside, but he is another viable option since Kenyon and Tytus can play multiple positions. What’s the buzz on JMS? Will he be there at 33? I’m thinking more 3rd or 4th round to draft a C, but he is the best C in the draft and would really turn o-line into a team strength. I’m not opposed at all.
Kenyon Green can play every position along the line except C. He could probably do it in a pinch, but doesn't project well there.JMS will be gone by 40, IOL is not strong this draft so some of these guys will go earlier than maybe should. What? He would get destroyed at tackle.Kenyon Green can play every position along the line except C. He could probably do it in a pinch, but doesn't project well there.
Likely so in the pros, but he did so in the NCAAF with success. What? He would get destroyed at tackle.
It varies. I’ve seen him taken in the 1st to mid 2nd. I think the C (JMS, Tippman, and Wypler) are going to go early day 2. I think C is a need for several teams this year. What’s the buzz on JMS? If JMS is there day 2, there will be a flurry of activity and Texans will be in the thick of it unless they swing a trade overnight. It varies. I’ve seen him taken in the 1st to mid 2nd. I think at least 8 teams need a C with the big ones being LV, CHI, WAS, BUF, and DEN.If JMS is there day 2, there will be a flurry of activity and Texans will be in the thick of it unless they swing a trade overnight.
And Chicago picks first on day 2.I think at least 8 teams need a C with the big ones being LV, CHI, WAS, BUF, and DEN.
If the Texans trade back up into the first it will not be for a CAnd Chicago picks first on day 2.
If Texans really want Schmidt, they may have to trade back up into the first on day 1.
Lord knows we could do with an upgrade at C and Schmidt would upgrade the middle from day 1. We could have the makings of a real line to protect our shiny new QB.
Perhaps. If the Texans trade back up into the first it will not be for a C
Chicago doesn’t pick first on day 2. The Steelers do. They traded that pick for Claypool. And Chicago picks first on day 2.

That doesn't mean he can play it, then.Likely so in the pros, but he did so in the NCAAF with success.
When wasn't Murphy considered a 1st round pick? Are the Jags and Bengals trading up from the 20's?
Not a fan of Ojulari as a 43 end. More of an 34 OLB. But I guess Coach Ryans likes him.
I like Ojulari and think he’s be a great option at 33 if we don’t go edge in round 1.
