What's happening?Keep your eyes on what’s happening in Seattle. Watson for Wilson?
If Taylor was doing well in this offense I can just imagine what Wilson would do..Keep your eyes on what’s happening in Seattle. Watson for Wilson?
Think Seattle will eat $13 m dead now and 26 m 2022?Keep your eyes on what’s happening in Seattle. Watson for Wilson?
Why not? We’d be eating something similar for Watson, meaning what they lose in dead money they regain in Watson’s contract. For them it’s a younger franchise QB, for the Texans it’s a QB who can get a sports massage in state. Win-win.Think Seattle will eat $13 m dead now and 26 m 2022?
Only 5 m for DW but I'm not against itWhy not? We’d be eating something similar for Watson, meaning what they lose in dead money they regain in Watson’s contract. For them it’s a younger franchise QB, for the Texans it’s a QB who can get a sports massage in state. Win-win.
While I agree so does Dashaun Watson.Watson should never be allowed to play QB for the Texans again
Smith: Regardless of circumstances, Deshaun Watson should never QB Texans again
While Tyrod Taylor’s hamstring heals, David Culley should unequivocally go with Davis...www.houstonchronicle.com

have you thought about trying out for America's got Talent?DeOily Watson?

That hit almost sent Mills back to Houston.
Doing what?
Whatever comedy routine you're trying to do here...

As the 2021 season progresses and teams build up losses and quarterbacks either are injured or show their lack of productivity Watson's value will increase. For me if it is a trade with a team that can offer significant players such as Miami I would want the trade to happen sooner. If it is a team like the New York Giants with basically high draft picks I would prefer to wait until after this season to complete a trade.
I could see that possibility and Taylor is on a one-year contract. A trade would also save us about 3 million on the cap.You know….if Mills has another solid performance, the same might be said Taylor. Teams with a QB1 need may not be to proud to knock on Caserio’s door in regards to Taylor’s availability. Texans might be able to hold out for a RD3 or RD4 for Taylor…..if there’s a team truly in need of a QB1 better than their current options.

I only partially agree with you on Miami that Miami is in a short time period Of making the decision. Ross should be thinking " Would DW have kept us in the game against Tampa Bay and would he get us wins 2 and possibly 3 of the next upcoming weeks."I don’t see it that way. The more losses build, the team starts looking at next season. You’re going to need a winning team with something to play for to lose their QB. A team on the verge of moving on from that QB anyway, like Pittsburg, Atlanta, or New Orleans.
Miami keeps losing, there’s less pressure for them to do anything now.
And you are welcome to your opinion but that does not mean it's correct.Even if all of his legal issues go away Watson’s value will never be as high as it was before these claims were made public so not sure much incentive for teams to dive in long-term until this mess has a bit more clarity.
What are you going to talk about when the trade deadline passes and he has been traded for a reasonable package? See how that works? What are you guys going to talk about when the trade deadline passes and he's still here ?
Surely they'll takl about his value increasing when the next window opens up.What are you guys going to talk about when the trade deadline passes and he's still here ?

I'm waiting for the, "they should have traded him before the trade deadline" when he's indicted & the Texans get nothing for him & still have to count $40M towards next year's cap.
If the Texans are so sure he's going to jail they should void the extension before it's too late & cut him loose.
Texans could try moving the majority of picks back so the proper time is given for a resolution to be found.
In Miami’s case, they keep Tua but give up picks over the next 3 drafts.
2022: RD1
2023: RD1, RD2, RD4
2024: RD1, RD2, RD3
The picks in 2023 & 2024 could be looped into some type of protection plan for Miami based on how the Watson situation plays out. Texans & Caserio get their RD1 in 2022 and backload the trade in 2023 & 2024 when the Watson mess should be in the rear-view mirror.
If a team trades for him, they'll be bound to that $35M figure. The Texans need to get out of this situation before Watson’s new contract kicks in and he’s to be paid 35M dollars guaranteed.
If a team trades for him, they'll be bound to that $35M figure.
The way I see it, the only way out is for the Texans to void the extension & 2021 is the last year of his rookie contract. They can then tag him & put a 1st round tender on him. Then it's up to the new team to negotiate a new deal, which he's not going to want to do.
The Texans are pretty much in a no win situation & it gets worse the longer it drags out.
