I see the possibility of Culley leading the Texans into the playoffs, and I dunno maybe deep into the P/Os.
Cooks & Tunsil for sure and Lindsay & Howard on a few NFL teams maybe. Do kickers really count ? OK ours could start for several different teams. Why didn't you list the defensive platoon ?

You got room for one more girl since you have two hands? What do they say about Hope in one hand...?
I am concerned that Scottie Phillips will get lost in the shuffle of all the new backs at a heavy position. I still think he has the skill set to be a good player. In my opinion David Johnson will take snaps away from other players. I am not opposed to David Johnson just his contract.DJ31 also averaged 4.7 ypa. I like our RB stable but could see us adding a young RB as undrafted FA. It depends as much on OL as RB.
Does anyone actually know anything about Scottie Phillips?
Please explain why a Press man cover CB cannot work in cover two? If the wide receiver is taken out of the game that works for me.
Oh you anticipate Culley being around more than a year or two?Didn't say when, just said he'd do it, so in other words future rosters very likely much different than todays.

What do I win?
You have to sign the NDA first. You got room for one more girl since you have two hands?

I'll give you these 3. Probably a couple of guys on defense, also.

I did. All the ones I think would start on another team. Why didn't you list the defensive platoon ?
I really like Scottie Phillips, I hope he gets a shot. I think he could be really good.
Such a short list.

"More than a year" ? Yes I think so.Oh you anticipate Culley being around more than a year or two?
In classic TT form, instead of creating your own list, you argue mine. Fine... conversation is good.Such a short list.
And debatable in many cases.
Cooks, for instance, came to the Rams as the no. 2 in 2018.
He lost that spot to a third rounder , Cooper Kupp.
Robert Woods, the no. 1, saw 139 targets in 16 starts.
Cooper Kupp saw 134 targets in 14 starts (16 games played)
Cooks saw a mere 72 targets in 14 starts (he missed 2 games).
In classic TT form, instead of creating your own list, you argue mine. Fine... conversation is good.
So you put something out there and you don't want feedback? And 2 others responded to your list but you only bust the balls of 76? Classic TT form.
I responded to IDTEXAN... the other guy is probably on ignore. So you put something out there and you don't want feedback? And 2 others responded to your list but you only bust the balls of 76? Classic TT form.

Some of y'all need to quit tee teeing and move on..

Remember we're arguing who can start for other teams. Going to the Rams as a #2... is not an argument against as the #2 receiver is a starter on 32 out of 32 teams.
As far as losing the starting role to Cooper Kup is a good argument. However if you look at all the Rams WR ypc we see the number shrink. Maybe the Rams have transitioned to a short game Cooks simply didn't fit. First season here he breaks off another 1,000 yard season.
So yes, you are correct. If the question was can Cooks start for all 32 teams in the NFL, the answer is no. But if the question is can Cooks start for another team (which if you're more interested in answering the question & not tearing at my opinions, you'd see that was the question) then you're wrong as Cooks certainly would.
Britt
Akins
Cobb

Could start for several other teams. Not all but quite a few.
New NFL & all, but some of us don't recognize the slot receiver as a starter.Yep,
I find it hilarious that some think Cooks couldn't start for the majority of teams. Heck, Cobb could play in the slot for the majority of teams.

Most likely the wrong way to look at it, but that's why Cobb isn't on my list.

Right. BO'b gutted the defense. But he kept adding talent to the offense trying to "fix" his "system"I think people on here are too caught up in the big names. We won’t have the superstar household name once Watson is traded. So now we don’t have quote on quote “ talent “.

Or give his young QB all of the tools he needed to be successful.
I agree the D hurt us for sure last year. But we didnt win any shootouts either. Just a very poorly coached atmosphere.Rob Peter to pay Paul. Great strategy huh. The defense suffered even more and was the main reason why we lost several close games.

When I read "could start" for another team, I automatically take it to be "an average" team or at least a 2nd tier team (20-21 of them in the league.)In classic TT form, instead of creating your own list, you argue mine. Fine... conversation is good.

A bad team beating bad teams doesn't make us better nor get us better in draft..I feel come November we're going to be talking about how weak our schedule is & biting each other's heads off because beating bad teams doesn't mean the Texans are a good team.

...That is a sure sign they did not think of him as a true playmaker at the no. 1 spot.
Numbers alone don't make a no. 1 receiver.
A healthy no. 1 receiver simply cannot be overshadowed by the no. 3; no matter how you slice it.

Sigh
That is why I have been so hopeful about trading Watson for High Selections in 2021 and 2022. Moving Watson, tunsil, Roby and Cobb's contracts by 22 will give us breathing room.
Bad teams play for draft position. I have no problem with a team that just couldn’t win many games. But I can’t get behind a team planing for April 2022 in April 2021.A bad team beating bad teams doesn't make us better nor get us better in draft..

So you're not a fan of how the Browns were built?

Taking 18 yrs to make a WC game? No thanks!
Lol almost 20 years. Bad example
I did.Who said anything about a no. 1 receiver?
I like all the moves they have made this off season. I'm not sure how good we will be, however i don't think we will be as bad as many on here think we will be.
