I started by saying that it was a very questionable call.
It was just not totally blatant enough to take the judgment away from the refs as the rule book stated it.
Slow motion replay doesn't help in this case for various reasons because the defender's arms and hands are below Hopkins'.
Any contact between the two players are not enhanced by slow motion; in fact, it was made less obvious.
It's unfortunate, but the replay doesn't help the case for an overturn.
That's just the way it is.
