Not weird at all. Steelers like to push the ball down the field and Dobbs has a very strong arm.

Dobb turned into my favorite QB prospect in this draft after big 3. Just love his quick release, ball just flicks out effortlessly.

Yep, but this draft for Texans has a distinct "drafting for need" flavor to it.
Has to be since we did squat in FA so far.

My board has Watkins as a top 50 prospect and a 2nd rounder. Fine pick for needed depth.

10.5 sacks as a DT for the national champs. Watkins brings some nice interior pass rush in the rotation. We needed another 5 tech and he's a similar player to Wormley who I really liked. Like the pick!

Mayock said that during interviews King told teams he wanted to stay at CB and not move to Safety. That turned some teams off of him.

I think Texans can entertain another OL in RD5 but 1 player worth keeping an eye on is SS/FS- David Jones, Richmond. This guy is 6-3 @ 210 lbs and popped a 4.5 - 40. His cover talent would give him the versatility to go SS or FS.

Not sure we go after a TE since our only F/A move was to re-sign Griffin.

I think O'Brien is good with the TE group he has.

Texans seem to value size/length measurables a lot more under O'brien. So my boy King wasn't the best fit because of lack of ideal size. So to throw a name out for round 5:

This draft is a Rick Smith/Bill O'Brian reset. Better class than one they should of had when they owned first picks every round (2014). Or maybe it's just all relative? This is certainly a much stronger class overall.

Same reason Reader slipped last season and Wormley went round 3. No respect for Dlinemen unless teams think they have 10+ sack/season potential.

We have a more complete team and Smith has a better idea of what OB wants so easier to identify/project how these young men will fit in for us.
